When you are in a less than happy situation, it can be hard to simply change your attitude. But there is a way to begin the process of getting to the other side and finding peace! Let's look at a whole new perspective!

Namaste.

Welcome to In The Flow with Lori Albert.

So do you ever find yourself going down that rabbit hole and you sit there and you're in this like funk or this place and everybody around you is like,

Come on look at the bright side.

Come on.

Just come on snap out of it.

Don't you want to just slap them sometimes?

I mean they mean well.

People that say that stuff you know they mean well right but sometimes it's just like can you just not tell me to snap out of it or like oh get over it.

Oh there's nothing worse than when somebody goes get over it.

That really is irritating right.

So what if I was to tell you that you're allowed to sit in it for a few minutes.

You're allowed to sit in it for a while.

You're allowed and I know I've talked about this before but there's like this new little and it's not new but you know like this aspect to it that spirit told me to kind of discuss today.

You know it's okay to feel like crap once in a while.

It's okay to feel like things just aren't going that great.

The trick to it is and I know you know it's easier said than done but it's okay to sit in it for a while.

Just as long as you realize that when you're ready there are ways to come on to the other side of it right.

We all have those moments of bad times right of you know you're going down that rabbit hole and you just start thinking all these thoughts and all of these things that you know you just don't want to you know that just aren't great right.

Like oh this person hates me or or something happens to you you get some bad news or something and you you sit in that funk.

Sometimes it's good to sit in the funk for a little bit.

I said funk.

It's good to sit in the funk for a little bit because if you don't recognize the lows you cannot recognize the highs.

It's impossible.

I know I talk so much about staying positive,

Being positive,

Raising your vibration,

Blah blah blah and that is really important as much as we can to stay in the place of high vibration.

As much as you possibly can it's good to do that.

However there's gonna be times we are spiritual beings having a human experience so of course sometimes there's gonna be down times of course.

It's impossible unless you are a unless you're Ram Dass to just beat up all the time right.

But when you're ready there are ways to help to pull yourself out of that right.

There are ways right there you can allow yourself the grieving period of whatever it is right.

Now here's where I'm gonna say something and this is like I've never talked about this before but this is a really cool way to help to get yourself out of you know starting to pull yourself up out of that rabbit hole.

When you're ready and you feel like that you want to get out of your funk start looking at things from sort of an alternate reality.

What if like okay so you've got this this bad health news I don't know why I'm supposed to use this as an example but I'm supposed to.

You get this health news and it's not great and you're just like oh my god what am I gonna do blah blah blah blah.

What if you started looking at it from an alternate reality from the perspective maybe I'm just like making this up as I go here right.

You look at it from the perspective of you've gone through everything you need to go through health wise and you're healthy again right.

You look at it from like that futuristic perspective or an alternate reality.

If you you get fired from your job right look at your life from a different perspective like an alternate reality like what if you never would have gone down that road and you had a whole separate career.

You find a new career and you and you just like this is all imagining right.

Look at things from a different looking at things from a different perspective can help you gain perspective on what's going on right now which is kind of cool.

It's kind of cool to be able to do that you know.

So here's the deal.

Bottom line is if we pay attention to our thoughts and if we monitor our thoughts and if we dictate our thoughts it can be a beautiful thing.

Dictating your own thoughts for yourself it's a little difficult to do.

The idea of that is a little difficult but if you really sit in a quiet space and you give yourself a period of time whatever that is and you create your own thoughts about any situation even about no situation if you want to put it bluntly you know even about no situation think change your thoughts around think new thoughts you can do it if you sit and you have to allow yourself that moment to like sit in the quiet and that sort of thing right so you do that you sit quietly and you create create your own reality in your head and what happens is is that your your vibration starts changing your thoughts start changing like even when you're not sitting in that quiet time thinking all these this alternate reality right and then it becomes oh well maybe this isn't so bad or you know whatever you start bottom line is you start pulling yourself out of that funky space that you're in different perspective that's what I love about that's what I love about spirituality and all of this stuff the law of attraction all these different ways of thinking you can find what's right for you and make it work isn't that cool there is no wrong of the way that you think there's no there's no wrong that's the difference to me from the way I used to think when I was younger and I was constrained by the religion that I grew up with not saying religion is bad religion can be great but for me this is solely for me I was constrained by that I wasn't allowed to think this way I wasn't allowed to think that way I wasn't allowed to be talking to spirits right no no no you know but you think you know you just get yourself out of that that train of thought and allow yourself to just be free you can think whatever you choose okay so that's what we are we are I went down this whole huge road that I didn't even imagine that I was going to do today isn't it great I love it spirit my spirit guides just they are always there for me I love that so okay so what we're gonna do is we are gonna meditate okay in our mantra today is the bottom line to this all okay so I'll tell you that in a minute all right get yourself comfortable because let's really try to go deep and meditate and really concentrate on just opening our mind okay so close your eyes let's take a really great cleansing healing breath in hold it and release perfect perfect we are free our mantra for today which is so powerful ahem prima ahem prima and what that means is I am divine love this is where it all starts this is where it all begins deep within us knowing that the divine love is deep within us and everything else just builds from there you have to start with the fact that you I we are divine love ahem prima ahem prima so let's get ourselves comfortable I will keep the time and let's start repeating the mantra over and over ahem prima I am divine love let's begin ahem prima ahem prima ahem prima ahem prima ahem you you you you you you ah hem prima ahem prima ahem prima let's release this really powerful mantra start to bring our awareness back to our bodies ah hem prima I am divine love you when you feel comfortable you can open your eyes very very powerful meditation today very powerful powerful in words powerful in the meaning powerful for us in general so thank you so much for joining today as always I love you all from my heart to yours namaste everybody have a great day
