Welcome,
My name is Nola Bloom and I'm so glad you're here.
I want to begin by.
.
.
Talking about something that I believe every woman carries within her.
Something ancient.
Something patient.
And something that doesn't arrive through thinking or striving or doing more.
It arrives through stillness.
There is a wisdom that lives deeper than thought.
Deeper than memory.
Deeper than anything light has ever asked you to carry.
It lives in the body.
In the breath.
In the quiet intelligence of the womb.
The womb carries your intuition.
Your creativity.
Your cycles,
Your stories.
The whispered threads of feminine knowing that have been passed through generations of women before you.
She is a sacred chamber of listening.
A place where truth reveals itself through feeling.
Through softening.
And through coming home to yourself.
And this practice is an invitation to return.
So often in the busyness of daily life.
The giving.
The doing.
A holding space for everyone else.
We can lose touch with that place.
We forget to listen.
Sometimes we forget she's even there.
From today.
We'll find our way back together.
And we'll do that through Yoga Nidra.
An ancient practice of yogic sleep that guides you into the deepest layers of rest.
Where the body completely lets go and awareness turns gently inward.
It is in this deeply receptive state that the wisdom of the womb can finally be heard.
So go ahead and get yourself comfortable.
Lie down.
Perhaps using cushions or blankets as needed.
And give yourself permission to fully receive.
As you settle.
Allow the eyes to gently close.
Feel the support of the earth beneath you.
And the steady presence of the ground receiving the weight of your body.
Allow the shoulders to soften.
The jaw to release.
Take a slow nourishing breath in.
And exhale all the air out.
And again.
Breathing in,
Receiving.
Breathing out and releasing.
Allow the breath to find its own natural rhythm.
And allow yourself to be held here.
In this soft and sacred space.
Let comfort be your first act of devotion.
As the body relaxes.
Become aware.
Of an inner landscape beginning to form around you.
A sanctuary that has been tended for you by the earth itself.
By the wisdom of women across countless generations.
A place that already knows how to hold you.
Ancient trees rise around you.
Their roots running deep.
And their branches arching overhead.
Woven together like the arms of guardians who have kept this space long before you arrived.
Soft moonlight filters through the canopy.
Settling over everything like a gentle remembrance.
The earth beneath your feet.
Feels rich and yielding and deeply feminine.
As though the ground itself is alive.
With the same quiet knowing.
You have come here to find your way back to.
And then at the very edges of your awareness.
A soft sound begins to emerge.
It's gentle,
Almost hidden.
Like a secret past between women for generations.
The gentle murmur of a hidden spring.
Flowing somewhere within the sacred landscape.
A sound that feels somehow familiar.
As though some part of you has always known it was here.
From this place of quiet arrival.
Allow your sankalpa to arise.
A heartfelt intention.
A seed.
Of feminine wisdom.
Ready to be planted in fertile ground.
It may come as a word.
Of feeling.
Or a quiet knowing that's already alive within you.
Allow it to emerge naturally.
The way a spring emerges from the earth.
Silently receive your sankalpa three times over.
Letting it settle gently in the heart.
Already aligned.
Already rooted.
Already becoming.
The sound of the hidden spring grows a little clearer.
Its waters adapt first as a cool,
Luminous pool between the eyebrows.
Feeling this place of quiet inner seeing beginning to awaken.
And then the waters begin to flow.
Trickling gently across the forehead.
Through the temples.
Softening the eyes.
Okay.
The jaw.
Each place the water's touch grows softer and more spacious.
As though the face is being gently remembered into ease.
Every small holding.
Dissolved by the passage of these enchanted waters.
Current flows into the throat.
Across the right shoulder.
Descending through the upper arm.
Elbow.
Or arm.
Rest.
Until the waters gather softly in the palm of the right hand.
Here they slow and cool down.
Swirling gently like a spring that has found a quiet hollow in the air.
Cool and luminous.
From the palm,
The waters overflow into each fingertip.
Tracing your skin with their gentle passage.
Ripples of sensation brimming all the way to the edges of the hand.
And sense the whole right arm resting now as one radiant flowing stream.
The current arises back through the shoulder and crosses over to the left.
Descending through the upper arms.
Elbow.
Forearms.
Wrist.
Until the waters gather softly in the palm of the left hand.
Cool and luminous.
Swirling gently before overflowing into each fingertip.
Leaving trails of shimmering awareness in their wake.
Now sense the whole left arm.
Resting in this tender blessing of the spring.
And now the current draws gently inward.
Flowing through the heart of the body.
Finding the quiet channel at the center.
Moving deeply.
It gathers softly at the belly.
Slowing here.
Circling gently.
As though sensing it as drawing close to something sacred.
The waters pool in the warm hollow of the abdomen.
Awareness deepens.
As though you were standing at the edge of still water,
Looking down onto it.
The spring flows into the right hip.
Descending through the thigh.
Me.
Have.
Ankle.
Until the waters pool in the sole of the right foot.
Settling there,
Cool and luminous.
And the spring traces each toe one by one.
The waters brimming gently into each toe.
A soft and glowing presence filling the entire foot.
Now sense the whole right leg.
Aligned and glowing with the flow of these sacred waters.
Current rises again and crosses over into the left hip.
Descending through the thigh.
With me.
Ankle.
Until the waters gather softly in the sole of the left foot.
Gentle and luminous.
The spring traces each toe one by one.
Leaving its quiet enchantment through the entire foot.
Now sense the whole left leg.
Glowing,
Tender,
And flowing light.
Now both legs.
Both arms.
The whole body held within this flowing embrace of the spring.
Crown of the head.
The soles of the feet.
Glistening with enchantment that has always been there.
Waiting to be remembered.
Now the waters begin to rise again.
Moving up through the legs like a luminous tide.
Flowing through the quiet channel of the center of the body.
Pressing the spine with liquid light as they ascend.
Vertebra by vertebra.
Until it crests at the heart.
Pause here.
Let the waters gather at the heart space.
Cooling in a sock.
Radiant stillness.
Allow the heart to receive this blessing.
Honoring what already lives within you.
You may feel quiet warmth here.
A gentle glow expanding from the center.
Breathe into the heart space.
Let it soften.
And open.
And then with a quiet devotion.
The spring continues its final descent.
Flowing from the heart.
Into the lower belly.
The deep bowl of the pelvis.
And into the sacred chamber of the womb.
Here.
The waters grow still.
Glistening softly in the dark.
The way a spring glistens at the heart of the earth.
They have been flowing towards this place all along.
She knows this water.
She has always known it sung.
Let her know that you are here.
That you have returned.
That you are listening.
Rest here.
For a few breaths.
And resting here within the womb.
Held by these still waters.
Become aware of the temperature of the spring against the body.
Cool,
Quiet.
The water is resting against the skin like the first touch of a mountain stream.
Where?
Still?
And ancient.
Feel the cool waters moving through the entire body.
From the palms of the hands.
The soles of the feet.
A gentle freshness that brings everything into a state of clear.
Wakeful rest.
The body cool and still.
The way water is still in the deepest part of a shaded pool.
And now.
Sense the spring beginning to warm.
As though the waters have journeyed deeper into the earth.
And found a source of quiet heat.
The warmth of something held safely in the dark for a very long time.
Feel the warmth.
Spreading slowly through the body.
Through the belly.
Into the womb.
Into the chest.
A soft and golden heat.
It softens everything it touches The body is warm and open.
Now feel the body cool once more.
Clear.
Don't.
The body is fresh and quiet.
And warm once more.
Golden.
Body is nourished from within.
Cool.
What?
The spring holds both.
She is always moved between them.
And the body knows how to receive both cool and warm.
And bring awareness now to the breath.
Watching the gentle rise of the chest and belly.
With every inhale.
Feel the breath rising from the womb to the heart.
Warm and unhurried.
Moving through the body the way the spring moves through the earth.
And with every exhale.
The breath returns from the heart back to the womb.
A gentle exchange between these two centers of the feminine body.
Ancient.
And emotional.
Though they are speaking a gentle language to each other.
Forming a sacred circuit.
The breath moves from the womb to the heart.
The heart back to the womb.
Wound heart.
Heart to wound.
Wound heart.
Heart to womb.
Just watching this flow of energy for a few more breaths.
Feel the energy awakening at each center.
Feeling alive.
Of feminine wisdom.
Heart space.
And the wound space gently activated.
And the breath is the spring.
The springs the breath The body is simply the landscape which both can flow.
And as the breath gently moves between the womb and the heart.
The inner world begins to surface.
Thoughts arise,
The way ripples arise on still water.
Without effort.
Without invitation.
Each one moving across the surface.
Then dissolving back into the quiet depths from which it came.
Feelings move through the body like currents in deep water.
Felt.
And witness.
And gently pass.
The sacred womb holds all of it without judgment.
She has held far more than this.
Simply watch.
As each ripple moves across the surface of the pool.
And you are the deep water.
The spring flows clear and steady beneath everything that passes through.
As the surface of the mind grows still.
Something becomes visible in the depths.
A gentle knowing that has always been here before you came.
The way the spring was flowing long before you heard it sound.
Rest here.
Listening with the body rather than the mind.
The world knows this depth.
She has always lived close to it.
And the spring grows very still now.
So still,
It is almost silent.
The waters have reached their source.
And that the source,
There is nothing left to see.
And the body is resting.
The breath is flowing effortlessly.
The womb quietly alive.
Holding you the way she has always held you.
Even in the times you forgot she was there.
Rest here in her keeping.
The oldest quiet.
You have ever known.
Now allow your sankalpa to arise once more.
Let it rise the way the spring rises.
From somewhere beneath knowing.
Effortless and clear.
Receiving it three times over.
Allowing it to move through every layer of your being.
Allow your heartfelt intention.
To be planted deep within the heart.
Begin to deepen the breath.
Become aware once more of the body resting here.
The points of contact with the earth beneath you.
The room around you.
Invite small movements into the fingers and toes.
Perhaps a gentle stretch.
Take another deep,
Nourishing breath.
As you carry yourself gently back.
Remember the sacred wisdom.
The spring has always been here.
It is flowing long before you found it.
And will continue long after you rise.
Whenever you grow still enough to listen.
You will hear her.
Whenever you return to yourself.
She will be there May you walk forward rooted in your own deep knowing.
May you remember the source that has never stopped flowing through you.
And gently flickering your eyes open.
May you carry this quiet wisdom.
And the sense of coming home to the rest of your day.
Namaste.
