Om Tryambakam Mahamrityunjaya Mantra

This is an ancient Vedic Mantra chanted in prayer to the Lord of Death. In India, people visit special Shiva temples bringing offerings asking for a gentle transition into death. They say that 'As a fruit that is ripe falls naturally from the tree, please let me die in a natural way when the time is right'.
