Welcome to this meditation entitled Daily Deliberate Action.
This meditation is going to take you on a guided journey of visualizing the incremental value and benefit over time of doing the small things right every day.
This meditation will be extremely useful if you're working towards a goal or you're trying to put into place daily habits,
New habits in your life and are looking for support to reinforce the value of doing those little things well every day while building incrementally greatness in time to come.
In this meditation we'll start with a preparation technique to get us really deep into the meditative experience and then I'm going to take you on a guided journey and give you an opportunity to really engage with yourself and the meditation journey and then we'll bring it to a close together.
All right let us begin.
We always start a meditation with a good preparation technique so close your eyes now,
Get comfortable,
Perhaps adjust your position just to increase your level of comfort,
Your level of relaxation a little bit.
Take a lovely deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth and again in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Your shoulders are relaxing,
Your whole body sinking into your seated position or if you're lying down on the surface beneath you.
One last deep breath in with me through the nose and out through the mouth.
Now I'd like you to visualize whether you're seated or lying down that at the bottom of your feet you have these beautiful energy roots growing out of your feet or out of your body extending down into the earth.
Visualize them working their way down through the layers of the earth anchoring you in,
Grounding you to the present time,
To your physical body,
To your physical world and now visualize beautiful coils of light moving from the top of your head out into the stars,
The universe,
The energy that's all around you tapping into the infinite potential of the cosmos,
The world,
The universe,
Cosmic energy.
Feel how these two different energies connect you and bind you to heaven and earth pouring their light up and down your body keeping you connected to the divine and to all that is of the here and now practical world.
Now in your mind's eye visualize that you are in a sacred space of some kind.
Might be a place in nature or a special shrine or a spiritual building,
A chapel,
A sacred space that you know.
Wherever it might be right near you is a body of water.
Be that a beautiful lake or river or an ornate swimming pool.
Whatever it is the body of water calls to you to cleanse you and so you feel drawn into that water you step in and let it wash over and through you as you visualize all the stuff you're carrying,
All the negativity of the day,
Of the present time just washing away from you.
The water is literally pulling it out of you and all you have to do is to let it go and as this water washes and clears you or your energy or your mind your heart you feel lighter and lighter and now as you are cleansed and clear protect your energy field by stepping into a beautiful shimmering silver bubble of light.
You could imagine this as silver armor or a radiant orb of protection or just a wall of protection around you.
The silver light creates a powerful barrier to deflect negativity coming to you and to draw any negativity within you and within this experience out of you.
If at any point in this meditation you feel anxious,
You feel your mind starting to race,
Come back to your silver shield to keep that stuff away from your mind,
Away from your heart clearing it out and letting it go.
Now you are ready.
As you move into the meditation deeper and deeper I'd like you to find yourself sitting somewhere out in nature and in front of you between your feet on the ground is a beautiful big basket.
Visualize what this basket looks like,
Its color,
Its design.
There's nothing in it yet but there will be soon.
Visualize your surroundings.
What part of nature are you in?
What can you see where you are sitting?
You feel comfortable,
Feel light and focused and at peace with this world you're in,
This beautiful sacred space you have created for yourself.
Now hold out your hand in front of you.
I'd like you to think as you stare at your open palm,
To think about the goal you're wanting to achieve,
The new habit you're wanting to instill the life change you're wanting to make a commitment to,
Wanting to follow through on.
What is this thing that you're wanting to grow and develop over time?
What is this incremental growth's goal that is before you that you would like some support on today?
Hold that image of that precious thing and take it into your heart,
Take it into your solar plexus just below the breastbone,
Take it into your mind,
Take it into your spiritual body,
Breathe it in.
Now that you are connected with the special and sacred thing you're wanting to bring into your life,
Your mind goes back to the palms of your hands that are in front of you facing up and open.
I want you to visualize as you stare at your palm that one grain of rice appears before you.
Can you see it in your palm?
It's as if by magic as you stare at your palm that one grain of rice has appeared.
Now take that grain of rice and put it into the basket in front of you and so you look back into your palm,
Open and ready.
I want you to really look at your palm and be amazed as you suddenly see two grains of rice in the palm of your hand as if by magic and as before you place those grains of rice into the basket.
Now you can see three grains of rice in the basket.
Can we do it again?
Let's give it a try.
Palms up,
Focus on your palms.
There are not three but four grains of rice in your hands.
Two have multiplied into four.
Dip your hand into the basket.
There are now seven grains of rice in there.
Let's do it again.
Stay focused.
Focus on your palm.
Take a deep breath and before you know it in a shimmer of light there are now eight grains of rice in your palms.
This is the power of the daily deliberate action.
The same actions taken every day,
The same new habits,
The same new commitments.
Every day you build and multiply your opportunity to manifest what you want.
You tip those eight grains into the basket and I encourage you to use all your focus to now keep going.
Next time focus on sixteen and the time after that thirty-two.
Keep going and adding and multiplying because you keep showing up in your life,
Showing up for your commitment,
Showing up for your habit,
Positive habits every single day.
Spend some time now as you multiply and accelerate your life experience.
And now as you've manifested these grains of rice so beautifully,
Look down into your basket and be amazed how full and overflowing with rice,
With abundance,
With nourishment,
Joy,
Vibrant life that the basket now holds and therefore the abundance and vibrance in your own life.
Breathe in the joy of the manifestation and what you can create if you take daily deliberate action to bring about what you want,
What you need and all the things that bring you joy in this life.
Slowly feel yourself coming back to yourself into your physical world as you take a lovely deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Moving back into present time,
Back into your body.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Connect back with the room.
What can you now hear around you?
Take a lovely stretch and remember that feeling of manifestation that you can create by showing up every day through daily deliberate action.
