Welcome to this guided relaxation meditation for deep sleep.

Find a comfortable position,

Laying down on your back with your arms at your sides and your legs slightly apart.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in,

Feeling the air filling your lungs and exhale slowly releasing any tension or stress from your body.

As you settle into this space,

I invite you to let go of today's events and any thoughts about tomorrow.

There is nothing you need to do right now,

Simply allow yourself to be here in this present moment.

Know that you are safe in your body and it is safe to relax and rest.

Let's begin by bringing your awareness to the breath.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your abdomen as you breathe in and out.

Imagine that with each breath you are inhaling calmness and exhaling any restlessness or worries.

Now let's journey through the five elements.

Envision yourself floating effortlessly in a serene warm body of water.

Feel the water supporting your entire body like a gentle embrace.

As you float,

Notice the water's temperature and texture against your skin.

Feel the soothing ripples and waves as they carry you,

Cradling you in a state of deep relaxation.

With each inhale,

Imagine the water nourishing your body and mind.

With each exhale,

Release any tension or discomfort.

Sense the vastness of the water around you,

Embracing you in a cocoon of tranquility.

Now stepping out of water,

We move to the earth.

Feel yourself laying on soft fertile ground.

Sense the grounding energy of the earth beneath you,

Connecting you to its stability and nurturing presence.

Feel the coolness of the earth against your skin as if it is giving you a gentle hug.

As you breathe,

Visualize roots extending from your body,

Sinking deep into the earth,

Anchoring you securely.

With each inhale,

Draw in the strength and stability of the earth.

With each exhale,

Release any lingering tension or worries.

Embrace the feeling of being held and supported by the earth,

Allowing a profound sense of relaxation to wash over you.

Now we arrive at fire.

Imagine a gentle,

Warm glow radiating from the core of your being.

This inner fire purifies and invigorates,

Melting away any residual stress or discomfort.

Visualize this warm light spreading from your heart center throughout your entire body like a comforting blanket of love.

As you breathe,

Feel the warmth of this inner flame,

Soothing your muscles and calming your mind.

With each inhale,

Invite the energy of the fire to cleanse and invigorate you.

With each exhale,

Release any tension or negativity,

Allowing it to dissolve in the gentle glow of the fire.

As we move to air,

Visualize yourself laying in an open meadow,

Feeling a soft breeze caressing your skin.

With each breath,

Sense the revitalizing energy of the air as it fills your lungs and rejuvenates your body.

Feel the coolness of the breeze against your face and the sound of rustling leaves or grass.

Allow the gentle breeze to carry away any remaining stress or worries,

Leaving you feeling light and free.

As you breathe in the fresh air,

Invite a sense of clarity and renewal into your being.

With each exhale,

Release any tension or thoughts that no longer serve you.

Embrace the feeling of liberation as the air carries your worries away,

Leaving you feeling refreshed and at peace.

Finally,

We arrive at ether,

The space that surrounds and permeates everything.

Imagine yourself floating weightlessly in an infinite expanse of space.

In this vast emptiness,

Feel a sense of freedom and tranquility where time and worries dissolve.

With each breath,

Feel the expansiveness of the ether,

As if you are merging with the boundless sky above you.

Sense the peace and stillness that emanate from this space,

Allowing it to envelop you in a profound sense of peace and serenity.

As you breathe in the limitless ether,

Invite a feeling of oneness and interconnectedness with the universe.

With each exhale,

Release any remaining tension,

Allowing them to dissolve in the vastness of space.

Take a moment to revisit each element briefly,

One after the other.

Feel the harmonious energy of water,

The grounding stability of earth,

The comforting warmth of fire,

The revitalizing breeze of air and the boundless peace of ether.

Let these elements infuse your being with their qualities,

Weaving a tapestry of relaxation and serenity.

As you rest in this state of deep relaxation,

Know that it is safe to surrender to sleep.

Allow yourself to drift into dreamland,

Knowing that you are supported,

Protected and deeply relaxed.

Feel the gentle embrace of the night as you float in the sea of dreams,

Where your subconscious mind can continue its journey of healing and growth.

When you wake,

You will feel refreshed,

Energized and ready to embrace a new day.
