No matter how much healing we do,
We are always going to experience big feelings.
Feelings like fear and anger and grief.
And this practice is for those big feelings,
When it seems like the feeling could completely take over.
So I want you to get comfortable and find the cadence of your breath.
Let that feeling show you what is here.
It might feel dark,
Endless,
Like drowning.
Find the breath again.
Let the breath lead you to the part of you that is aware.
Aware of the breath.
Aware of this feeling.
There's something here that's bigger than the feeling.
There's a part of you that is constant.
Steady.
And it's actually holding this feeling right now.
It's bigger than the feeling.
And perhaps you can imagine that inside of you there are waves crashing.
There's a storm or a volcano erupting.
But there is a bubble around your body that is holding all of it.
It's your awareness.
You are bigger than the feeling.
And even though this feeling is really scary,
It is safe for you to hold it.
You're strong enough to hold it.
Just like a parent that can hold us as children when we're experiencing big feelings,
There is no feeling that is too big for us to hold.
And perhaps there are more actions we feel called to take later.
Perhaps there is truth inside of this feeling.
But that doesn't really matter right now.
We're being called to hold the feeling.
To stand in our solidness and say,
I've got this.
I've got you.
So it is safe for you to feel both things right now.
Feel the awareness that you are that is big and hold this feeling.
And feel the feeling inside of your awareness,
Inside of your space holding.
