Now for deeper relaxation,
Let's take a few breaths in through the nose and release through the mouth.
We're going to repeat a couple times here.
And then as we go along,
Just in through the nose,
Out through the mouth,
Normal breathing as we continue our journey.
So here we go.
In through the nose.
And out.
In through the nose.
And out.
Again.
And release.
Just continue this as normal breathing,
Nice and easy.
A study was done among hundreds of different college students to determine how many thoughts and what kind of thoughts occur on a typical day,
And found that the average is about 60,
000 thoughts per day.
The tough stuff is that 85% is considered to be negative and 90% of the thoughts were carried over from yesterday.
That's what we call brainwashing.
So these 60,
000 repeating thoughts were bunched into three categories.
Fear,
Anger,
And sadness.
Repeating as something is wrong,
Which creates mistrust.
It's like something's wrong.
Watch out.
Something's wrong.
You know,
Fear under the bed.
What's there in the closet?
The boogeyman waiting for you out on the street.
What's wrong?
What's wrong?
Something's wrong.
That creates the illusion of fear everywhere.
The second category was this isn't it.
This isn't it.
This is not it.
This is not it,
Which creates anger.
I mean,
After a while,
Really.
If nothing's ever it,
You're going to get a little angry.
So this creates the illusion that nothing is never it.
And the illusion of fear,
Anger,
And sadness is now starting to take over.
And the third category is I am not or they are not good enough,
Which over time creates the illusion of sadness.
I'm just not good enough.
If I was like my brother or sister,
I'd be good enough.
Or that person over there.
Or that person over there.
You know what I'm talking about.
So now that you know,
Stop for a moment.
That's 60,
000 conversations you're having in a day.
90% carried over from yesterday.
What story are you feeding yourself?
So just check in with yourself.
If you keep that story alive,
How does fear feel?
Is your energy expanding or contracting?
And which one do you want?
Who or what got you to leave your inner calmness?
Tough questions,
Huh?
Here's the good news.
It's never you unless you say so,
Old master.
We create the stories.
So it's never you unless you say so.
And if you add that to your story,
That's the way it'll be.
Because most of the stuff we've learned,
It's not us.
It came to us from our parents,
Our teachers,
Our friends,
Our relatives,
And so forth.
So let's create a simple way to expand beyond fear.
Here's a fact.
You can't change what's already happened in the moment because it is already over when we see it.
So just try and change what you see or feel as it unfolds in this moment.
Too late.
It's over.
Right?
Try and change it.
There you're looking at it.
It's too late.
It's over.
Our real power,
Now here's the good one.
Our real power is to shift out of fear comes with our reaction to what's unfolding in front of us and what we have our attention on.
For whatever you put your attention on,
Your energy and your consciousness will follow and you will get more of what you're focusing on.
It's called the law of attraction,
But should really be called the law of attention.
Because wherever you put your attention on,
Your energy and conscious is going to follow.
So if you place your attention on just illusionary physical things that are rising and falling in the moment,
You will continue to cycle through fear,
Anger and sadness on a daily basis.
Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future.
If we can acknowledge our fear,
We can realize that right now we are okay.
Right now,
Today we are still alive and our bodies are working wonderfully.
Our eyes can see this wonderful,
Beautiful sky.
Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones and our internal voice of love and our senses feel connected to the oneness of our aliveness.
However,
When you place your attention on the energy,
Your future dreams,
The space of life versus all that's rising and falling in it,
You awaken your observer consciousness and discover that your true point of power can only be found in life's eternal moments of now beyond the illusions of fear,
Anger and sadness.
Here's a way out.
Next time you feel yourself getting fearful,
Take three deep breaths and remember it's not you unless you say so.
Don't include it in your story.
And along with it,
Step outside of yourself and see that you are the space of life versus something in it.
Now touch yourself and say,
Am I awake?
Which activates the power of your observer consciousness because the question itself activates your observer.
Am I awake can be your calming mantra that you can use anytime,
Anywhere.
And as a deeper mantra helper,
Stop anytime that you can,
Look in the mirror and often say to yourself,
I am light in the eyes,
Love in the heart and peace in the body.
Remember if you expect the best,
You'll be the best.
Learn to use one of the most powerful laws in the world.
Change your mental habits to belief in yourself instead of disbelief.
Learn to expect not to doubt.
In so doing,
You bring everything into the realm of possibility.
If you want to be set free from anger,
Fear,
Sadness,
An emotional state,
Just live in a state of gratitude.
Everything you see,
Feel grateful towards having it be in your space and take total responsibility for everything in your life.
Not as fault,
Blame,
Shame,
Guilt,
But just pure old acceptance of responsibility.
Everything is an extension of us,
So we have to be responsible for it.
And the minute we stop feeding it with our energy,
Our attention,
Our consciousness,
It disappears.
Now let's close our eyes and get ready for a sweet,
Deep meditation.
We're going to change up our breath work a little bit and do some circular breathing that sounds kind of like this.
Like that.
And after we do that a few times,
I'm going to ask you to take a deep breath and hold it.
You'll feel a little bit wavy.
You'll have your eyes closed,
So just be gentle with yourself and relax.
Let it flow.
At the end of the breath,
Then I'll begin to count you down starting with ten so that we can go deeper into meditation.
Alright,
So let's breathe.
Nice and easy.
Now let's take a deep breath and hold it on this one.
And hold it.
And enjoy the relaxation.
Feeling yourself letting go of fear,
Anger,
And sadness.
Drama of any kind.
Now releasing your breath.
And let's count down now starting with ten and just allow yourself to let go.
Just whatever it feels like to you,
Let it go.
And now dropping deeper into nine.
Where the emotions of fear,
Anger,
And sadness are just lifting.
Now dropping into eight.
And releasing everything into the space of life.
Now dropping into seven.
Continuing to let go.
Dropping into six.
Dropping deeper.
Freer.
Into five.
Feeling the lightness of being flowing through you as you drop into four.
Deeper into three.
Deeper into two.
And finally resting in one.
