We'll begin this meditation by bringing the awareness to the breath.
Exploring the breath with curiosity is how it's showing up in this space today.
Staying with a comfortable pace,
We'll begin to breathe up the front body on your inhale,
Down the back body on your exhale.
Keeping that focus for a few breaths,
Even visualizing a sense of softness coming with the inhale up the front body and alongside the exhale down the back body.
Staying with this focus for one more complete breath,
Taking note of your mind space,
The landscape,
The pace within your mind.
Maybe setting an intention as we start the practice,
Intention of being present in any way you can today.
Also,
Setting the intention to leave the ego at the door,
Bringing your awareness through your physical body,
Feeling your body letting go into the support beneath you and feeling that support rising up to meet your body.
Now,
Visualize a small white light glowing in your heart.
And with each exhale,
The light slowly expands,
Filling your chest.
This soft light continues to grow with each breath,
Filling your chest and now moving up through your neck,
Lifting to the crown of your head,
Slowly extending through your shoulders and arms with each breath.
Seeing this white light being present through the full length of your back,
Your torso,
And your sides.
It continues down through each leg,
Right down to the soles of your feet.
Pause for a moment.
Breathe.
Breathe in this soft light,
Feeling its presence through your body.
With your next exhale,
The light will slowly expand past your skin and will begin to vibrate as it hovers a few inches past your body,
Surrounding your head,
Embracing your shoulders,
Holding your hands and palms,
Floating alongside the full length of your upper body,
Circling your legs and resting beneath your feet.
Breathe in this soft light,
Feeling its presence through your body.
Now noticing that from this light surrounding you,
There are small white threads extending outward,
Gently drifting in the space around you and connecting you to the energy of the universe.
As you bring your awareness inward,
Now begin to scan through the length of your inner landscape,
Checking in with the energy here.
Are you noticing any tension or feelings of stress?
As you gently explore your inner landscape,
Take note of any energy or stress that may present as red threads mixed in with your white threads.
These red threads may be thoughts coming from your mind.
They may be feelings coming from your heart.
They may be pains coming from your body.
Take a moment to see these red threads.
Breathe.
Coming back to the white light that surrounds your full body.
Now begin to carefully move through your body and cut the red threads,
Beginning at your feet.
See the threads dissolve as they go,
Letting go and moving upward around your legs,
Circling around your hips,
Your mid-body,
Including your back body,
Over both shoulders and down the length of the arms and moving through the surface of your neck and around your head.
Slowly scanning through the length of the body,
The front,
The sides,
The back,
The soles of the feet,
Crown of the head.
Scanning over your body once more to ensure all red threads have been let go.
Taking a slow,
Deep breath as you come to have only glowing white threads extending from your light.
Breathe in new,
Fresh energy and feel it fill your lungs.
Notice the feeling of warmth filling your body from each of the glowing white threads.
See the white threads begin to soften and your glowing white light easing back into your inner body,
Coming to rest at your heart space.
Staying connected to the glowing light within you,
Beginning to bring your awareness back to the space you're in.
Taking a slow,
Deep breath,
Adding some movement and stretching through the legs,
Through the arms.
When you feel ready,
Opening the eyes if they were closed,
Arriving back in this space.
The light in me sees,
Honors and reflects the light in you.
