Since when?
Since when did we stop listening to ourselves and await the work siren to blare us out of our senses?
The silent murmurings of the waves,
The tweeting birds,
Nature's orchestra,
Not one note out of place.
Even the driftwood bobbing in and out of the sea will get somewhere,
Perhaps where it needs to be.
This weekend at the guesthouse and the one minute for myself,
I land on what lies within,
Making a distinction from the outside happenings.
My friend,
I do share with you,
However,
The sometimes unyielding world,
The hard to please children,
The demands of work,
Challenges and all.
But in the quiet of the minute,
I was a wave and a particle at the same time.
I had travelled and still travelling in the impermanence of possibilities.
Yet I'm not alone.
I find all of you there.
So let us rejoice.
This minute belongs to you.
Aaruh.
When I wrote this,
I had stepped out for a minute from the humdrum of household life at a vacation guesthouse.
We seldom get away from the busyness of life,
But we must,
Even if it were a minute.
Sometimes that too is enough to discover the eternal principles that have always been there.
Stay blessed.
Aaruh.
