Come into a comfortable seated or laying down position.

Allow yourself to start to settle in and get comfortable here.

Giving yourself the gift of those few extra moments.

As you settle in,

Begin to just lightly rest your attention on your breath.

Maybe sensing where the breath is moving in your body.

Or just letting yourself feel and remember the power of a few deep breaths.

Starting to deepen that breath,

Lengthening the inhale and exhale.

You're going to reach your arms out to your sides.

Inhale,

Reach your arms up.

Exhale,

When the hands come to the top,

Press the palms down in front of you.

Fingertips might touch.

We're going to do that again.

Inhale,

Reach your arms up.

Exhale,

Turn the palms down.

Let some of the fingertips touch.

Press the hands down.

Now,

Just let your hands rest beside you.

Start to envision,

Imagine light all around your body.

So let this light be a color that is comforting and supportive of you.

I always tend to go with a pinkish hue.

You can choose whatever comes forward for you.

You may just imagine this light around you.

Maybe it's in kind of a bubble shape around you.

It's to your sides,

It's to your front and back,

Above and below.

Then bring your arms by your sides again.

Now,

As you inhale,

Just visualize that light filling out the space around you.

Exhaling,

Touching some of the fingertips,

Pressing the hand down,

Letting that start to bring that light inside your body.

Let's do that a few more times,

Inhale,

Reach the arms out.

Fill up on the exhale.

So we're just using this visual as a way to start to imagine,

Connect with our own wholeness and light,

Which can sometimes feel a little bit intangible.

So using the imagination can just help us a little bit.

We do one more round of that inhaling the arms out,

Exhaling,

Pressing the hands down,

Taking it in,

And then letting the hands rest wherever feels comfortable,

Beginning to sense into the aliveness inside your body.

So visualizing that light filling your whole body,

Weaving itself in and around,

Just noticing any sensations you feel as you do this.

There may be places where that's difficult to visualize.

That's okay.

The whole thing might be difficult to visualize.

That's also okay.

Instead,

You might find easier contact with your physical sensations.

These are all just gateways.

So you find gates that work for you.

Taking a few deep breaths here,

Just connecting with your inner wholeness,

Your true nature,

Your light.

And then we'll close by sharing our invocation for this week.

So I'll repeat it three times,

And after each time,

You can just let it resonate,

Reverberate throughout your body,

Or you're welcome to repeat it yourself,

Silently or out loud.

So I'll begin,

May I know and share my light.

May I know and share my light.

May I know and share my light.

Let's close with a breath together here.

So inhale and exhale.

The light in me honors the light in you.

Namaste.

Such a soothing voice, strong prompts, with encouragement for visualization and what I like to call "meditation pep talk time." I feel ready to face my day. ๐Ÿ‘Quite excited to try this teacher's other guided meditations. Instantly added to the favorites list after being guided through this practice once.
