This is an extended guided meditation.

Let's settle in.

Begin to turn your attention to your breath.

Letting your body be comfortable here.

Making any shifts or adjustments that you need.

I'm beginning to get curious about your breath.

Noticing its rhythm,

Patterns.

Letting yourself drop into those rhythms.

There is nothing to change.

How often do you let yourself know what you know?

Hear the messages coming from your body,

Your heart,

Your gut.

Much less trust them.

How often do you let yourself stand in what is true for you without apology,

Without double-checking,

Without googling,

Just knowing?

Let this start to loop in your heart,

Mind,

And spirit.

May I know what I know.

May I know what I know.

Turn your attention now to your feet.

Feel whatever your feet are in contact with.

Floor,

Your own body,

Chair,

Your clothing.

Just noticing that point of contact.

Any sensations that you feel.

And now begin to sense inside your feet.

So what sensations arise for your awareness?

This might be temperature,

A desire to move,

Or something else entirely.

You might also not be sure.

That's okay.

Stay open and listen.

Now drop in another layer.

Feel that you are inside your feet.

There's some unknowing,

Some mystery here,

But also something deep and conscious calling you.

Truly you already do live here.

Let yourself know it and feel it.

Now stay inside your feet as we invite more of your body into the conversation.

Moving your attention now to your legs and your hips.

Again,

First notice what you are in contact with.

Moving your attention from the lower legs to the knees,

Upper legs,

And the hips on both sides.

Letting those points of contact be an invitation to now sense inside your legs and hips.

What do you feel here?

What presents itself for your awareness?

Staying open,

Scanning.

Now inviting yourself to feel that you are inside your legs and hips.

What is the feeling tone here?

What is the feeling tone here?

Now stay inside feet,

Legs,

And hips.

Then begin to move your attention now to your torso.

Noticing what the torso is in contact with,

If anything,

If it's not perhaps feeling the lengthening of your spine.

Now beginning to sense inside the torso.

What do you notice?

What energy do you sense moving?

From there,

Diving in,

Letting yourself feel you are inside your own torso.

Your own torso.

Because you are.

Now staying inside feet,

Legs,

Hips,

Torso.

Let's move attention to hands and arms.

Notice what our hands and arms in contact with.

Maybe resting against or on your body.

Or they might be in contact with something else.

Now sensing inside your arms.

What is happening in here?

Looking around as you invite yourself to feel you are inside your hands and arms.

Now stay inside feet,

Legs,

Hips,

Torso,

Hands,

And arms.

Now turning attention to head,

Neck,

And shoulders.

Noticing the position of the head,

Neck,

And shoulders.

What they're in contact with,

If anything.

And then starting to sense inside head,

Neck,

And shoulders.

Then letting yourself feel you are inside head,

Neck,

And shoulders.

Beginning to expand your awareness through your whole body here.

Let yourself be inside feet,

Legs,

Hips,

Torso,

Hands,

Arms,

Head,

Neck,

And shoulders.

Whole body.

Give yourself the gift of living here for a moment inside the whole body.

What is it like to be here embodied?

What do you notice?

What are your reactions,

Doubts,

Questions,

And enthusiasms?

Did you lose contact with any parts of yourself?

That happens.

Simply and gently invite them back.

Were there any parts that you were not able to embody?

That happens too.

You are slowly bringing those parts back online.

There is no timeline here.

Just listening and opening.

Did you receive any messages from your body or does it have any for you now?

Stay inside,

Live inside,

And listen for words,

Feelings,

Sensations,

Questions,

Whatever arises.

Return to our loop from earlier.

May I know what I know.

Place one hand on your heart,

One hand on your belly.

Repeat after me silently or out loud.

May I know what I know.

May I know what I know.

May I know what I know.

Letting that loop sink down,

Reverberate through your bones,

Letting yourself hear and know and trust the conversation with your body.

Let's take one breath together to close.

We'll inhale and exhale.

The light in me honors the light in you.

Namaste.

Very simple and helpful. Hum from audio equipment was distracting at first, but I just turned the volume down and settled in and it was okay.

This is a great way to connect both mind and body, and to "program in" the idea that we must listen for and to our own implicit wisdom.

I found this to be quite powerful. I definitely realized how disconnected from my body I've been...living in my head, spiraling over the many things I feel I don't know. So glad I found this meditation. Thank you.

The revelation came a few hours later - in a dream - after falling asleep during the meditation. A message from my soul of something I wasn't conscious of, but it's right on the money!

Very niceโฃ๏ธ Supportive of my self healing by building awareness of inner knowing. Also, systematically develops a keen awareness of my body, embodiment.
