Welcome to part 3 of the moon mapping meditation series where we find cosmic alignment in our daily lives by honoring the current lunar phase.
Feel free to return to this visualization every month as you face challenges in bringing your vision to life.
Remember there are no rules or specific outcome you are supposed to achieve in this meditation.
Simply being here with your breath with your body is enough.
Let's begin.
Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Slowly start to feel your body softening and settling.
Begin to notice which parts of your body are meeting the earth below you.
Gently close your eyes or take a soft gaze towards the floor.
Whatever allows you to feel safe and supported.
Let your shoulders begin to melt down away from your ears and feel your collarbones start to expand wide from side to side.
Ever so slightly tuck your chin in towards the chest to create a bit more space in the back of the neck.
Begin to deepen your breath allowing your body to expand with each inhale and soften with each exhale.
Let your breath guide you into a deeper state of relaxation.
Imagine yourself standing in your garden of intentions under the moonlit night with your feet firmly planted on the earth.
Gaze up at the first quarter moon observing its half circle of light.
The moon is halfway to being full.
You are now at the point of your journey in which you must take action and commit bringing your version of your dreams to life.
The air around you is charged with determination and you can feel the energy of challenges looming in the atmosphere.
Before you stands the young plant of your intentions that has recently broken through the soil during the waxing crescent phase.
Its stem is now more robust but it still faces the resistance of gravity as it continues to grow.
As you observe the plant feel a sense of empathy and connection with it.
It represents your aspirations and intentions newly planted with fresh roots.
With each passing moment the plant slowly persists in its journey challenging itself to overcome the resistance.
Pause to reflect on any challenges or resistance you are currently facing in bringing your manifestations to life.
Just as the plant persists so do you.
Return to your breath as you inhale imagine the seedlings tiny stem growing stronger defying the odds.
With each exhale visualize it's stretching upward resolute in its journey.
As you do repeat to yourself I have the strength to overcome obstacles that come my way I see my dreams taking shape.
Twice more I have the strength to overcome obstacles that come my way I see my dreams taking shape.
I have the strength to overcome obstacles that come my way I see my dreams taking shape.
The challenges you overcome under the first quarter moon give you the strength to keep building and signal to the universe that you are committed to bringing this vision to life.
During this phase you are taking aligned action and creating the structure of your dreams.
The moon's light casts shadows on the plant emphasizing the obstacles it will face in its environment.
However these obstacles only serve to strengthen the plants resolve and so they will for you.
With each passing day the plant reaches a little higher overcoming against the challenges it encounters.
Gently place one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly breathing into the strength of your body.
Continue to take a few deep breaths feeling the sense of inner power grow.
Letting yourself remember that the power and wisdom you need to continue on your journey already exists within you.
On your final breath inhale seeing your vision continue to grow.
Exhale dropping deeper into your power.
When you are ready gently float your eyelids open carrying the sense of persistence and unwavering commitment with you knowing that just as the seedling pushes through the soil you too can overcome any obstacles that come your way.
Thank you for joining me on this first quarter moon meditation.
I will see you in a few days as you continue to build self-confidence and refine your dreams and intentions in our waxing gibbous moon meditation.
