So,
Making yourself comfortable and sitting or lying down,
Closing down the eyes,
Gently guiding your awareness to your breath,
Noticing the breath in your body and noticing the movement in the stomach or the chest,
The flow of air at the nostrils,
Using the out breath to take you a little deeper,
As if with each out breath you're sinking a little deeper,
Deeper within.
Taking a few moments for a gentle body scan,
Noticing any areas of unnecessary tension,
Discomfort or unease and allowing the out breath to loosen,
Soften,
Release and relax those areas.
Starting from the top of the head,
Gently move down through your body to the fingertips,
To the tips of your toes,
Taking some time to do this.
With the body relaxed and the mind quietening,
We start to learn how to use time wisely.
You see,
Time holds great significance in life.
It is a precious resource that must be utilised wisely for your benefit and the well-being of those close to you.
We have all experienced moments when time slips away unnoticed.
Without a plan in place,
Time can often pass by unnoticed,
Leaving us scrambling to remember our responsibilities and tasks.
Have you ever started a day with a long to-do list?
Initially it may seem overwhelming,
Yet as you tackle each task one by one,
The list becomes shorter,
And before you know it,
You have accomplished everything.
Time seems to have flown by and you feel a sense of accomplishment and relief.
Now recall that feeling of achievement.
Remember how good it felt.
Remember that it feels as if a weight had been lifted from your shoulders.
It's now time for you to take control of your time.
This is your time,
No one else's.
Create lists for tomorrow,
For next week,
Perhaps even next month.
Really embrace the satisfaction of putting your tasks,
Events and obligations down on paper.
Shopping,
Meetings,
Birthdays,
Chores,
Jobs,
Exercise,
Friends.
Doesn't it feel empowering to have your tasks and events written down?
Your unconscious mind now recognises the importance of scheduling.
You're motivated to create a daily task list and follow a schedule.
Take a moment to consider activities that you love,
And realise that you now have time for them by incorporating them into your daily schedule book.
You can now start to plan your day.
Having a schedule will silence your conscious mind's constant questioning of what needs to be done.
Everything is so clearly outlined in your daily schedule,
Allowing you to follow it with ease.
This sense of structure keeps you in control and on track.
It promotes your well-being and happiness,
As curiously you have more time for yourself.
Your time holds greater value,
And you feel the need to start a daily schedule book as soon as you emerge from this wonderful relaxed state that you're currently in.
Make that decision now.
This is your time.
And so taking a deeper awakening breath now,
Having a gentle stretch,
Bringing yourself back to the present moment.
And opening your eyes,
Returning to the day.
