Welcome back to Insight Timer.
I'm Steven and I'll be your guide for this meditation.
This is a practice to support you,
To establish balance and a sense of enoughness in your present life.
Enoughness isn't about having everything or having nothing.
It's the balanced ground in between where you trust what is present.
And that's what we're cultivating today.
Comfort with what is.
Trust in yourself right now.
And believe in your present self.
With each inhalation,
You can cultivate a mindset of welcoming.
With each exhalation,
You can practice release.
I encourage you to consider what you want to welcome and what you want to release.
The breath is not only a tool that studies and supports all of the systems of our body.
The breath is also a tool that you can create balance in the mind.
When you feel out of balance,
The breath can bring you back.
So let's start by getting curious.
What do you need more of?
What would make you feel balanced in your life right now?
Maybe it's calm or clarity,
Ease or kindness.
Maybe it's joy or connection or rest.
Notice what comes to you.
And what do you want less of?
What do you feel too much of?
Where do you sense overwhelm?
What might you like to let go of?
Maybe it's pressure,
Stress or grief.
There's no judgment here.
Just noticing what wants to shift.
Now find a comfortable seated,
Standing or lying position.
Let your body settle wherever you are.
And notice in your body,
Where do you feel scarcity?
Is it tightness in your chest?
Heaviness in your shoulders?
A knot in your belly?
Just notice without trying to change it.
And where do you feel abundance?
Maybe it's an openness in your heart space or lightness in your limbs.
Or ease in your breath.
Notice both places in your body.
We're going to practice by inviting abundance and releasing scarcity.
I encourage you to exchange these words for anything that feels right for you.
You could invite kindness or release overwhelm.
Whatever you need more of.
Whatever you want to release.
Take a gentle inhale.
Inhaling abundance.
As your chest expands,
As your heart space opens,
Feel yourself welcoming what you need.
Invited in.
And exhale.
Release.
Let go of whatever mindset tells you you're not enough.
Release any scarcity that makes you feel lacking in this moment.
Inhale abundance.
Feel it moving through and into you.
Your lungs filling.
Your chest lifting.
Your heart expanding.
Your welcoming balance into your life.
Exhale scarcity.
Release whatever you don't need.
Let it go.
No need to hold on.
Continue inhaling what you're inviting in.
Exhaling what you're letting go of.
With each breath at your own pace,
You're finding balance.
A midpoint between too much and not enough.
There's a space in between each breath where you're neither reaching nor releasing.
Neither filling nor emptying.
That space is here.
That balance is here.
In the middle path,
You find enough.
You find trust in what you have.
You find belief in who you are right now.
Take a moment just to sit with this.
No more breathing practice.
Just notice.
What part of your body feels like it's enough right now?
Can you locate it?
Can you trust it just for a moment?
When you're ready,
Bring your breath back to its natural rhythm.
Through this practice,
You can develop the ability to find the space between.
The middle path where enoughness lives.
Carry this balance,
This trust,
And this belief in yourself with you as you move forward.
