Thank you for joining in meditation today.
Before we begin,
I want to discuss a few preparations.
If you can,
I encourage you to do this meditation outdoors,
Under the night sky,
As to have a deeper connection to nature.
Otherwise,
You are welcome to do this meditation indoors as well.
Whether you are indoors or outdoors,
Find yourself in a seated or lying position,
Taking note to maintain a stretched,
Elongated spine throughout the meditation.
I'll give you a few moments here to settle in,
Get comfortable,
Become present,
And when I ring the bell,
We will begin the meditation.
Now,
Become aware of your breathing.
Take a deep inhale and a deep exhale.
Allow your breath to become deeper and longer.
Find comfort in your breath here,
For it is always here for you.
Breathe in from the soles of the feet through the top of the head.
And then exhale with the entire body as well,
From the soles of the feet to the top of the head.
Breathe with your whole body.
Feel the sensation of your breathing throughout your whole body.
And then exhale with the entire body.
Inhale again from the soles of the feet throughout the body to the top of the head.
And then exhale from the soles of the feet throughout the body to the top of the head.
Feel this life force energy,
This prana moving through your entire body.
If you find your mind drifting to somewhere else,
You can always come back to the breath.
Now,
In your mind's eye,
See the stars,
The moon,
And the sky above you.
See past the veil of our night sky into the deeper universe.
Seeing other planets,
Other galaxies,
Nebulas.
Let your mind's eye wander through the infinite wonders of the universe above.
See past the veil of our night sky into the deeper universe.
Now,
See the light from all these stars,
Galaxies,
Moons,
And planets.
See their light and their colors.
Now,
Notice the top of your head.
Feel inside into your brain.
And notice the distance between your head and the great universe above.
It may seem like a far,
Far distance,
But yet you are still connected to this great universe just the same.
Notice the space,
The emptiness,
The stillness in between your head and the great universe above.
Feel the connection.
Now,
In your mind's eye,
Go back to that light and all the colors of the stars and moon and planets and galaxies in the universe.
See their light getting brighter and brighter now.
They're radiating more light into space.
And then their light converges and gathers into a concentrated illumination beaming into a spotlight that shines down directly to the top of your head.
This bright light from the universe now floods into your mind and into your body beaming just like a spotlight directly to you.
As you breathe in,
This light radiates stronger into you.
As you breathe out,
The light permeates deeper into every cell of your body.
This light,
This illumination from the great universe fills you and purifies you.
This light contains strength,
Love,
And wisdom.
Breathe into the sensation of the light filling your body and permeating deeper into every cell.
Oh,
Wow.
You breathe in more light,
More strength,
Love and wisdom from the universe into your body.
You exhale,
It permeates into every fiber of your being.
You breathe in more light,
More strength,
Love and wisdom from the universe into your body.
Now you see that this light from the universe fills you up so completely that you're now overflowing with light from your body into the atmosphere around you.
You begin to radiate light and heat just like the stars and galaxies,
All of those around you can see you beaming this light.
Now as the spotlight from the universe into your body continues to flood you with light,
As you continue to overflow with this light,
Let your ball of energy and light become bigger and bigger.
You begin to radiate light and heat just like the stars and galaxies,
All of those around you can see you beaming this light.
This light and energy helps you feel lighter and lighter as if you could float up towards the sky.
Yet the yin energy of the earth,
Of Gaia,
Holds you here to keep you safely grounded.
You feel the melting weight of gravity assist you to rest right where you are.
Now take your awareness back to the top of your head.
In your mind's eye you see the spotlight from the universe take its light away from the top of your head.
The light goes back to the stars and the planets,
The galaxies and the nebulas above.
Even though they are no longer beaming their light directly into you,
Know that this connection to the cosmos as well as your connection to the earth,
To Gaia,
Is always here with you and now even stronger within you.
You are more connected to the universe with its light,
Strength,
Love and wisdom.
Now place your hands on top of your head.
Take a deep,
Long,
Slow breath in and out as to seal this healing into your upper dantian,
Your spirit.
Now place your hands on top of your solar plexus which is your rib cage just below the heart and take a deep,
Long,
Slow breath in and out to seal the healing into your middle dantian,
Your energy.
Now place your hands on top of your lower belly.
Take a deep,
Long,
Slow breath in and out to seal this healing into your lower dantian,
The matter of your being.
Now take a moment here to cultivate gratitude for the cosmos and the earth that sustains all life and watches over you.
When you're ready,
You can now either gently begin to move the body and open the eyes to direct action for your next activities or you can rest here and fall into a deep,
Lucid sleep.
