Starting in a comfortable seated position or laying on your left side with your right leg propped up onto a bolster.
Take a deep breath into the bottom of your belly.
Feel the spine grow long as the lungs inflate.
All the way till the breath reaches the top of the head,
Part the lips and exhale away.
Allow the shoulders to fall away from the ears,
The space between the eyes to soften,
The jaw to unclench.
Take another deep inhale in,
Feeling all the contact points of your body on the earth and pay such close attention to these points.
Allow your mind to escape into your body,
Not to entertain any thoughts or delve into any stories that the mind creates.
Just pay so much attention to your body and your breath.
Now place either one or both of your hands on your belly,
Feeling the soft gentle touch of your hands on your skin,
The gentle affection towards your baby underneath.
Take a deep breath in,
Feeling the bottom of your lungs,
Continuing to feel the side and back ribs ascending all the way to the collarbones and exhale away.
Taking another deep breath into the belly,
Exhale away.
Feeling your deep breathing,
Feeling your baby underneath your hands as your tummy expands,
Visualising all the nourishment and oxygen your body is giving to your baby.
Feeling into the amazement of the woman's body,
Carrying this baby,
Growing this baby,
Giving this baby its entire life energy.
You are amazing mama and what you're doing is a huge job and your baby is so grateful for it.
Take another deep breath into the bottom of your belly,
Exhale away.
Taking another deep breath into the belly,
Giving your baby heaps of attention and affection,
Let them know that you are listening,
You do see them,
You do feel them,
Acknowledging that they're there.
Taking another deep breath in,
Receiving all the love and gratitude your baby has for you,
All the excitement your baby has to coming out and meeting you.
Dwelling in this connection and love between you and babe,
Creating that true appetence before baby is even born.
Namaste.
