Welcome.
And as always,
We begin with the breath.
Just allowing the breath to regulate itself.
This meditation in particular will really align itself with an easy,
Ease-full mindfulness which is not about managing or controlling the breath or our body but really being with what is arising.
So right now,
Just be with your breathing.
Just notice,
Is it shallow,
Is it deep?
It might be slow,
It might be a little faster.
And to just be with it.
In this time together,
We will be absolutely generous with our presence,
Our attention and our love for whatever is arising in the body.
So just as the breathing begins to find a natural rhythm,
Let's notice first that place at the center of ourselves where there is a sense of a radiant flame or light.
It may be in the belly,
It may be in the heart,
Maybe in the throat,
Wherever the energy feels strongest.
Bring your attention there and just breathe in and out with that place in the body,
Allowing that light to begin to shine a little stronger and to begin to radiate outward,
Absorbing and washing over all of the molecules and cells in that area.
And noticing with the breath and with the movement of that light through the body,
The energy may move,
The attention may be drawn elsewhere.
Just allow yourself to go wherever in your body you're called to pay attention and bring your awareness.
Begin to spread that shining light that was emanating in one place of strength in the body.
And wherever your attention is drawn,
Bring that light with you.
And with this rhythm of easy breathing,
Just allow yourself to send this place where you are allowing your attention to fall at the moment,
A wave of love and appreciation.
It may be a place in your body that is particularly powerful and aligned well.
It may be a place in your body that is not so powerful,
Where there is some sense of dis-ease.
Whichever it is,
Just allow yourself to be drawn wherever you need to be in the body,
Bringing light and love and appreciation.
And also just opening into the knowing that you don't move alone within the body,
That you are part of a web of creative life-giving energy.
And that your particular consciousness may pay attention in this moment to a particular area in this body.
But that entire web of life that you are connected to moves with you through that attention and intention.
There's a natural sense of restoration that moves with your attention.
So just breathing in now,
Allow yourself to receive the energy that is moving to and through you from this larger hole.
There's a sense of softening.
The edges where we think there are rigid boundaries begin to soften.
And the sense of all of life and creation moving in and through and with us as a connected part inside a unified whole becomes palpable.
So just leaning into that sense of being sourced by something larger but also having the clarity and the ability with your own focus of love to absolutely pinpoint with perfect precision the movement of this mighty energy,
Light and love,
Into even the tiniest cell in your body.
So just allow your attention to move wherever it needs to in the body right now.
And feeling the sense that there is an attunement happening,
That just the act of bringing this light and love to a particular place,
Function,
Organ,
Cell,
Muscle,
Tissue,
Whatever it is,
That in doing so there's a natural rearranging.
Anything that is unlike that light and love as the spotlight of it is shown upon it begins to naturally reorder itself to come into alignment and to just take a moment silently to give appreciation whatever this part of the body is,
Whether it's a part that is experiencing distress or whether it's a part that is functioning perfectly well,
To just shine your love,
Give gratitude for this body,
To feel the transformation that occurs inside that generosity.
There's something that begins to activate a receptivity.
There's a saturating quality as we just love,
Love and love these parts of our body that need healing or these parts that are assisting in the healing.
As we do that there's a permeability that becomes available.
These places that perhaps were rigid now become permeable and the saturation,
The receptivity to the healing,
To the energy,
To the light absolutely grows exponentially.
So we just let that begin to move through the whole body,
This sense of being permeable and available for healing.
The impulse of creativity and creation itself is natural.
We are an innate part of a system of life and light.
So to just relax and receive as that moves through us now.
And as we just begin to soften into the conclusion of this meditation,
We know that when the meditation concludes it doesn't mean that the energy movement has to conclude.
Whatever movement,
Whatever circulation of this light and life force that has begun to move in the body will continue to do so.
We know that whatever part is connected to this grid of the life that moves in and through all things will continue to stay connected and to be rejuvenated and buoyed by that wholeness.
We now do bring our attention back to our breath,
Pulling our energy back in a little bit to be attentive to our hands,
Our feet,
The way we can breathe into the belly.
As we ready ourselves to open our eyes and move forward with the rest of our day or evening,
We know that whatever has begun to move in a healing way in the body will continue.
Anywhere that there was inertia has begun to open and blossom and invite momentum.
And so when you're ready just open your eyes,
Be wherever you are in the room,
And know that the space between you and all of the rest of the supportive source of life is very,
Very close and all is well.
And so it is.
