Transcript

Settle in and make yourself comfortable.

Close your eyes down and begin by taking a deep breath in,

Holding it for a few seconds.

Then exhale.

Again take a nice deep breath in,

Hold it for just a couple of seconds.

Then exhale.

As you do,

Feel yourself beginning to release any tension,

Any stress.

Feel your body settling in and letting go.

Take one more deep breath in,

Hold it,

And then let it go.

Relax and allow yourself to breathe normally now.

You have already made the decision to take this time for yourself.

So for now,

Allow yourself to let go of anything that can be dealt with later and be here now.

It feels good to take time for yourself,

To let go of everything else,

And just relax.

And there is nothing for you to do right now.

Your mind automatically listens to this meditation.

So just let go.

Let go.

Let go.

Your body is comfortably sinking deeper into relaxation.

Your mind knows exactly what to do to relax.

Everything feels good and you allow yourself to go even deeper now.

Bring your awareness to the top of your head and imagine feeling a comfortable,

Relaxing sensation moving into the top of your head,

Into your scalp.

It's a warm,

Peaceful feeling.

Trust yourself.

Imagine this relaxation moving down through your forehead as your brow relaxes down through your nose and cheeks.

Sinking into your jaw,

Your jaw relaxes and unclenches.

Your entire head and face feel relaxed and continue to relax more and more deeply with every breath.

It feels good to let go.

Imagine moving down into your neck,

Muscles beginning to feel loose,

Limp,

Heavy,

Relaxed.

It's a pleasant feeling,

A comfortable,

Letting go feeling.

It's taking you deeper and deeper into pleasant relaxation.

Drift,

Dream,

Float.

The deeper you go,

The better you feel.

Feel the relaxation moving into your shoulders,

Shoulders letting go,

Relaxing,

Moving into your upper back,

Bringing a comfortable wave of relaxation,

Letting go of all tension,

All stress.

Melting into relaxation,

Muscles are loose,

Limp,

Relaxed.

Down into the lower back,

You feel your muscles releasing all tension,

Dropping down deeper now,

Allowing my voice to pleasantly guide you into this peaceful,

Pleasant state of relaxation.

The deeper you go,

The more you enjoy it.

Feel the relaxation moving down your arms and all the way out to the tips of your fingers.

You notice your arms becoming heavy,

Loose,

Relaxed.

Relaxation moving down through your chest,

Through your stomach,

Down through your waist,

Every muscle,

Every tissue,

Every part of you is now letting go and relaxing.

Moving down into your legs,

Through your thigh muscles as they let go,

Release,

Relax,

Melting into a very deep,

Very comfortable feeling.

It feels good to relax now and let go.

The relaxation continues to move down through your knees,

Into your calves,

Releasing,

Letting go deeper and deeper down.

Now moving down through your ankles,

Through the heels of your feet,

Through the arches and all the way out to the tips of your toes.

Just imagine your feet relaxing,

Taking the load off and letting go.

From head to toe,

You feel a nice,

Comfortable and peaceful feeling of total relaxation.

You feel even more pleasant,

More relaxed and more peaceful with every breath.

Feeling yourself sinking deeper and deeper into the surface beneath you as every muscle,

Every tissue,

Every part of you releases and melts into a deeper and deeper feeling of complete and total relaxation.

You allow all of your thoughts to relax just as your body is relaxing,

Thoughts gently slowing down,

Mind relaxing,

Every thought drifting you deeper and deeper down,

Drifting,

Floating,

Relaxing.

In a moment,

I will begin to count down from five to one.

Each number that I count will automatically take you even deeper into pleasant,

Peaceful relaxation.

Five.

Going deeper down now.

Four.

Heavy.

Limp.

Relaxed.

Three.

Drifting.

Floating.

Two.

Letting go.

One.

One.

One.

And now even more relaxed,

Focusing on my voice as I guide you even deeper now.

From this place of relaxation and letting go,

You become aware of the deep sense of peace that you feel.

You feel nurtured and whole,

Connected,

Calm.

These feelings fill you on every level,

Deep within your cells,

Filling your energy systems.

All parts of you are deeply connected now and always to this inner place of peace.

It is in this peaceful,

Deep state of relaxation that you connect to yourself,

That all-powerful part of you that loves you so deeply,

So profoundly.

It feels good to connect to this part of you that understands on a deep level that you are loved,

You are enough,

You are safe and secure,

And you are worthy of a deeply fulfilling life.

It is in this state that you become fully aware that you deserve the best that life has to offer.

You deserve to be happy.

You deserve to be loved.

You deserve to have the life that you want.

You begin to feel an appreciation for yourself as you look on your life.

From this vantage point,

You are able to see your entire life like a movie or a story being told.

You might see it,

You might sense it,

You might hear it.

Just trust yourself.

It's there.

From the beginning of being just an innocent baby,

Here to learn so much in life,

You watch your story unfold and notice the challenges that you have overcome along the way.

Only now you can see that the challenges were some of the most important things that you have learned in your life.

In realizing this,

You begin to appreciate the challenges on a very deep level.

You see how the challenges taught you that.

You are strong.

You are confident in yourself.

You are secure in yourself.

And you trust yourself.

You also see the glorious moments in your life.

The times that you felt proud of yourself and joyful.

These moments you cherish and keep with you always to remind yourself that your life is beautiful and that you are worthy.

You are loved.

You feel an appreciation like you have never felt before.

And that's because from this vantage point,

You understand that all the moments of your life have taught you valuable lessons.

And you begin to imagine yourself as a swirling of light.

All of your experiences,

All of your beliefs,

All of your feelings are swirling together in a beautiful light.

It's all in there.

The good,

The challenging,

The joyful,

The love,

The grief,

All of it.

And you realize that your whole life,

All of it is so beautiful and perfect.

You are a unique blend of all of your experience.

And you choose to love yourself every moment of every day,

Even when you are not your best.

You love yourself unconditionally.

And you are enjoying your life more and more each and every day.

These powerful images and ideas are deeply rooted within you on all levels.

And the love for yourself is growing stronger and stronger.

In a moment,

I will count to the number five and gently bring you to your full conscious awareness,

Pleasant and easy,

Calm and peaceful.

You're ready for whatever comes next for you.

Number one,

Slowly,

Gently and easily becoming more aware.

Number two,

Feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Number three,

Begin to gently move your body as you come to your full conscious awareness.

Number four,

On the next number I count,

Your eyes will open.

You'll awake feeling peaceful and energized.

Number five,

Open your eyes,

Stretch,

Smile and breathe.
