Choosing love over fear.

What do we want?

Mostly we would say love over fear,

No question.

But to access and reach love when we are in fear can be a bit of a mystery.

Love can allow us to think,

Feel and know clearly.

Clearly in line with our truest path and self.

What is best for us in every moment is known by the heart.

The mind has helped us and continues to help us in all things rational.

The fight or flight responses we have needed at times to survive.

But the mind was never meant to have authority over the knowing and wisdom of the heart.

Only the heart can whisper and softly press the truth of your existence into the palms of your awareness.

So taking a moment now to find and feel your points of contact on your seat or the floor.

And just feeling your body becoming heavier as if you were sinking a little more into the earth beneath you.

Where you are warm,

Safe,

Held and loved.

Feeling the rise and the fall of your breath as it finds its own rhythm.

Feeling your breath to go as deep or as shallow as it wants to go.

Nothing to do,

Nothing to change.

Just being you with an awareness of your breath.

And we just stay here with the breath a few moments longer.

Now,

Shifting your awareness to the places inside you where your body feels restricted,

Sunken and tired.

And doing this without judging these places but just observing them almost as if you were looking at someone else.

And just being with the uncomfortable feelings that have been locked away.

And allowing any sounds,

Words,

Emotions or feelings to arise as you observe these difficult places.

Giving your body full permission to release anything at all that it needs to release in this moment.

Breathing deeply,

Finding your contact to the floor and remembering that you are held and safe as you journey into these more difficult places.

These places inside taking up so much space in your life,

Making so much noise in the background,

Taking so much energy to stay locked away.

These difficult places are needing your undivided presence and awareness so that they can be seen and felt and so released.

And you can just stay with these difficult places as long as you need and just observing whatever images,

Feelings or stirrings that are there.

And knowing that the stories and feelings attached to these places are valid.

Simply acknowledging the places of fear and constriction as valid.

And then finding and accepting the balm of love as also valid.

Not better,

Not worse.

That love is what you have been calling in for yourself at this time.

So validating these difficult places inside you with the words,

I hear you and I see you.

Just feel the meaning and the depth and the intention of those words towards these difficult places.

I hear you.

I see you.

And just holding yourself in that for a few more moments.

Allowing any release of sound,

Words,

Any movements or feelings to leave your body now.

And coming back to focus on your breath.

Taking your contact with the floor and just allowing the body to soften even more.

And softly placing your hand on your heart now.

And gently start rubbing,

Tapping or massaging that heart space to gently remind your body and brain of this space.

Breathing deeply and allowing your hand to become still again,

Soft and receptive.

And imagining an energy centre now of golden light radiating from your heart space.

This warm golden light that has the capacity and capability to shine far beyond you and connect you to your Divine Self.

Exhaling that light moving,

Radiating out from your heart space and into all parts of your body.

And now imagining a deep pink rose colour emanating from your heart.

Start to feel deeply into the hue of the pink,

The intensity of it or the softness of it,

The shine of it.

Just become familiar with this beautiful deep pink colour radiating from your heart space.

And just like the dormant rosebud opens petal by petal in its own timing,

You can feel this pure light radiance grow and expand from your heart space through your whole body and beyond.

Now we have some questions for the heart.

How big do you want to grow?

How wide can you reach?

And just taking in the first answer that comes into your mind,

Into your awareness.

And finally asking your heart,

How sure are you of yourself?

And just hearing these answers from your heart and taking them in for a moment and then letting them go again.

Know that love rests within this space inside you,

This space that you are remembering more and more.

Your home away from home,

Your power centre,

Your innate knowing and wisdom,

Your inner compass and place of deep meaningful love connections and a love state of being.

And just keep staying with this ever expanding feeling and glow of love and allowing your light to shine as much as your light wants to shine.

You can choose to give love the same presence and attention that you have afforded and awarded other parts of your life.

And if you feel now that you can give this love a sound,

A voice or a movement,

Just do that now if it feels good.

Staying deeply now,

Staying with this feeling of love,

Staying here as long as you need and allowing the light of your love to take up as much space as it needs.

And know that you can revisit this space at any time.

And when you are ready,

Feeling your body's contact to the floor,

Hearing the sounds around you.

And when you are ready,

Gently opening your eyes and softly bowing your head in gratitude to your heart and yourself for this time,

This space and this remembering.
