Self-forgiveness meditation just beginning by softly closing the eyes becoming comfortable in the body in a sitting or a laying position and allowing these next words to land and ripple where they are most beneficial for you I know you feel hopeless sometimes like all your efforts have amounted to nothing I know a part of you feels worthless and unworthy and I know that there is a part of you that quietly aches a part that is hidden that speaks softly in the night when all distractions are gone that part that feels the unfairness the regrets the shame and the judgement around not doing enough not being enough not getting it right I know it aches and I know it sits in the pit of your stomach and ripples throughout your body but I also know that there is a flicker of light in this well of darkness a light that can bathe your wounds and self-sabotaging sickness into a radical and releasing healing this embalming light is that of forgiveness forgiveness is an expression of love that can heal the wrong one the sad one the lost one the unworthy one the alone one and the shameful one and this soothing balm of forgiveness it begins in your heart it does not make right what was done it does not absolve any responsibility or change the past but it can dissolve some of the pain that lies in your heart the same pain that has eroded your knowing and experiencing of self-love and worth which is the same love and worth that is in fact the intrinsic nature of your heart I feel you in your struggle and I forgive you I forgive you I forgive you so you too now can take the key to your own heart to unlock this self-healing potential and just taking a deep breath into the belly now and releasing it out with a sigh and another deep breath into the belly and releasing it out with another sigh and one more breath deeply into the belly and out again and now with one hand tenderly placed on your heart and the other on your belly or sekul chakra just feel that holding now of yourself that tenderness and gentleness toward yourself breathing deeply and now with that same gentleness you can say these words toward your inner self out loud or in your mind I see you I know your pain and I know your suffering and I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I forgive you I forgive you I forgive myself I forgive myself I forgive myself and just allowing yourself to feel all that now and breathe and now with a sense of release you can say to yourself followed by big exhalation I surrender to love I surrender to love and now breathing in all that love that love that can now freely flow into the space within you that is now available to accept and hold the vibration of self-love you are worthy you are enough you are free to radiate self-love from your being with courage and truth in your heart and when you are ready just starting to become aware of the sounds around you wiggling your fingers and toes and slowly opening your eyes
