Hey friends,
I'm Ali and today we'll be talking through a simple meditation to help you feel more confident.
So go ahead and bring yourself into a comfortable position you could be laying down or find a comfortable seat,
Whatever suits you best today.
As you drop into stillness,
Just allowing the body to soften a little bit if you're seated,
Lengthen the spine.
You could soften your eyes to look down just ahead of you or close them all together.
Begin to just observe any sounds or happenings around you and your surroundings.
And now shift that awareness to your thoughts,
What's going on in the mind.
Maybe there's something in particular that drew you to this practice today.
Notice if there are any limiting beliefs that you're telling yourself,
Any self-doubts creeping in,
Negative self-talk.
We're all human so these thoughts do come in from time to time,
Especially if we get stuck in comparison mode or just feeling unworthy,
Not good enough.
So we want to now bring those thoughts to the surface.
We want to observe if they're there,
What they are.
Take a moment just to notice.
And let's start to get a little bit curious here.
Think about where those thoughts might be coming from.
Where are they stemming from?
Maybe a situation from your past.
Or a comment or energy from someone else in your life that you might be clinging on to.
And if you're not really sure,
It's all good.
Just again observing what shows up.
You And if any thoughts did surface,
Any limiting beliefs,
Any negative self-talk,
We want to start to shift that around.
One way to do that is to shift into gratitude.
So for a moment here let's just take a little time to reflect and consider some of the things that you're grateful for in your life today.
It could be something so simple,
So small.
It could be something larger,
A more bigger picture.
Just start to feel and connect to things in your life that you're grateful for.
Now whatever's coming to you,
People,
Things,
Opportunities,
Situations,
Notice how they make you feel when you think about them.
Maybe a little lighter.
Maybe there are feelings of joy,
Happiness,
Allowing all of that to wash over you,
Especially with that feeling of gratitude.
Remind yourself that you are more than capable to live out beyond anyone else's expectations of you.
You are your own unique version of yourself.
There is nobody else in the world that is the same as you and has the same unique gifts that you have.
Take a deep breath in,
Open your mouth,
Let it go,
And just settle in here for a moment,
Being grateful for your uniqueness and all of the gifts that make you authentically you.
And whenever those negative thoughts start to creep their way back into your mind,
And of course they will at some point,
You're still a human just like when you started,
You have the power to remind yourself of your uniqueness.
And these are the things that no one can take away from you.
Feel free to stay in this shape as long as it serves you.
