You this meditation is designed to clear away any layers of overwhelm or resistance and bring you into creative alignment as you sit down to write.
Writing from a place of pressure and overwhelm is not conducive to ease and clarity.
When you write from the heart space with support from your creative center inspiration flows.
Make sure you are sitting comfortably with your spine straight and your feet on the floor.
If you are not sitting in a chair sit with your spine straight and your limbs relaxed.
Closing your eyes place your hands over your womb space.
Take a deep breath in through your nose out through your mouth.
Continue this deep breathing feeling your belly on the in-breath emptying it on the out-breath.
Thinking of your sacral chakra your womb space I want you to picture a lotus bloom orange and glowing floating gently in a clear pool of water.
You are a vessel for bringing forth creation for bringing out emotion.
Just sit with this image and breathe.
Thank yourself for the journey you have had the one that inspires you to want to share.
Sit with the energy of creation and to keep breathing.
I want you to picture a tree it is gentle but powerful.
You are the tree.
Keeping your eyes closed imagine the roots of this tree slowly spreading downwards from your feet grounding you into the earth.
Imagine your arms turning into branches resilient but pliable moving slightly as the breeze swirls around them.
Imagine you are in an ancient forest the moss clings to you clinging to life to the nourishment it can find in your embrace.
There is moisture in the air on the ground droplets on all the leaves but no rain.
As a tree you have no eyes but still see no ears but still hear.
There is life all around ever transient but full of the promise of creation.
Look at the droplets of moisture laying your vision on each one in turn.
There are many but you are here grounded with no desire to be elsewhere.
Imagine each droplet shifts gently into a tiny diamond.
Everywhere the Sun catches and reflects dancing rainbow beams among the blanket of leaves atop the damp soil.
Like magic the diamonds rise floating and swirling in the breeze then disappear into the sky.
The beauty of their dance is replaced for a moment by a light fog but there is no fear no resistance no anxiety only knowing.
With a gentle suddenness the rain falls pattering on the leaves on the branches on stones and on the ground sparkling still with the magic of creation.
Let your roots soak up the water nourishing you,
Your trunk,
Your branches and your leaves making them glitter like the diamonds that have bathed them.
Feel into your womb space and see the waters in that basin start to shimmer rising slowly traveling up through your body through your throat up into your mind.
There it is your vision is clear you trust your knowing and you are ready to begin.
