This meditation is designed to clear your mind and help you gain clarity and detail about the story you wish to tell.
My name is Romina Cavagnola,
I am a story weaver,
A guide for connecting with,
Articulating,
Writing and publishing your soul stories.
Let's begin by making sure that you are comfortable in your seated position,
Place your feet flat on the floor and rest your hands on your knees or a comfortable surface.
Now close your eyes and become aware of your breathing,
See the movement of your breath in your mind as you inhale and exhale in your own natural rhythm.
When you are ready take a deep breath in through your nose and fill your belly on the in breath,
Then gently exhale and empty your belly on the out breath.
Continue this deep breathing until you are ready to shift back into your natural rhythm all the while maintaining your awareness of the movement of your breath.
You can see without any effort how the air passes through your nose and down into your belly and back out again and you are aware of the gift that your breath is.
You are aware of how it represents the life force within your body and the essence that is who you are.
Now I want you to picture yourself in a space outside,
Maybe it's a beach,
Maybe you're in the woods,
Maybe you're on a city path,
Wherever you are is okay and is right.
Wherever you are,
You are surrounded by a light fog and you can hear the voices of people around you if you're in a city or populated area but you can't see them.
And if you are near water you can hear the splashing movements of that water,
Animals moving about in the sea or in a lake but you can't see them.
If you're in the woods or somewhere in the mountains you can hear the wind rustling through the trees and the crunch of your footsteps over the leaves and the brush.
You can hear the birds call and animals scurrying but again you cannot see them.
It feels as though you are alone even though the world continues on around you for you are caught up in this fog and you don't know which way to turn.
Bring your awareness to your body,
Feel the boundaries that your physical body has.
Notice your limbs in your mind,
Your height and the limits to which your physical body can reach.
Now tune in to the space that you feel is your personal space.
Expand your awareness there and slowly slowly nudge that awareness outward towards the limits of your energetic boundary.
What color is it?
What color is the light that radiates from you?
Just picture it in your mind,
Whichever color it is is right for you.
Don't think about it too much,
Just take whichever color comes to you that feels right,
That feels aligned and comfortable.
Now bring your awareness to the fog.
When you look closely you notice the movement of that moisture in the air for that's all it is,
Moisture in the air and as you look closely you begin to see more and more detail.
You can see little wisps of vapor floating in the air,
You can see the droplets,
Tiny droplets that make up that moisture and as you pay particular attention to the elements that make up this fog you notice that it slowly begins to clear and you can see as you look down at your feet the surface on which you walk.
Is it sand,
Pure white,
Maybe it's a concrete path or a grassy sidewalk or dried leaves and twigs,
Whatever it is you notice and as you look down you are aware of the different textures and surfaces beneath you.
Notice the detail,
Picture it in your mind.
Now slowly lift your gaze to look further off and beyond and take in what is around you.
Are there people?
What are they wearing?
What do they sound like?
How many are there?
What are they doing?
Are there animals?
Where can you see them?
What kind?
How high up or whereabouts are they hidden?
Notice what nature is around you or what man-made is around you but notice pick something that really catches your eye and study the detail.
Record every little thing that you notice about this object in your mind.
You can see clearly can't you?
Exactly what that thing is and what makes it up.
You know where it is,
What it does,
Why it's there and how it helps you.
A certain sense of clarity washes over you.
You know exactly how to pinpoint what needs to be what needs to be in this narrative.
You know the events,
The thoughts,
The moments,
The triggers,
The people,
The journeys that weave together to create this story.
And you remember with confident accuracy the minor details from those times and those occasions,
Those incidents,
Events,
Thoughts,
Observations,
Conversations.
You remember exactly what it is that makes those moments special.
Those story moments that will weave together to form this narrative.
As these different story moments start circling in your mind you observe them and you are aware of what makes them important,
What makes them special,
What makes them challenging and how they fit together for the purpose that you wish to share.
That you wish to share and you own those story moments and the narrative that they form.
It is yours and you stand in it confidently and powerfully.
You know how to use your story to share your message because it is your story and even though others can see themselves walking the path that you walked it is powerful and valuable because it is yours.
Slowly bring your awareness now back to your body and to your breath.
Taking some deep breaths in through the nose and back out through the mouth.
Deep breaths where you can picture the movement of the air passing through your nose into your body and back out again.
And as you relax back into your natural breathing you are aware and confident and clear about what you have learned here and what you want to say.
And you know that you will be able to access the flow as you write.
You will be able to access the words that are needed to get your message across.
When you are ready open your eyes and shake off the stillness gently.
Now go forth and tell your soul story.
