Many of us go through life feeling as if we are not enough, that we have to do more and become more to fit in. That we must strive to become someone of worth and value. This talk serves as a reminder that you are already more than enough.

Dear one,

Who told you that you weren't beautiful?

Who told you that you weren't worthy?

These are false.

You have always,

Always been worthy.

Our fear comes from a deep place of not being good enough.

Stemming from a fear.

A fear of getting in trouble.

A fear that our enoughness just wasn't enough.

We've come to believe that in order to achieve the things that we want to achieve,

We must do more.

We must become more.

These beliefs,

They force us into a masculine energy.

Feeling that we must always work and work and hustle and do more and push ourselves beyond what we are physically capable of.

We lose ourselves.

We lose ourselves in the pursuit of wanting more.

Of being more.

Of being worthy of love and affection.

Of wanting to do the right things.

Not for our happiness.

Not because doing these things will allow us to actually enjoy our life.

No.

Instead we force ourselves to believe that we want things that we don't truly want.

We force ourselves to believe that if we can just achieve a certain level of success,

We can earn that respect.

We can earn the right to no longer be afraid.

That we will learn the right to say enough.

That we can earn the right to become who we already were.

We gain the freedom to release ourselves from the judgments.

To take off the mask.

To be honest about what really makes us happy.

For years we've lived a lie.

We've lived a life not to please ourselves,

But to please others.

And we do this because we are afraid.

We have been traumatized and not necessarily always at the fault of the one that traumatizes us but at the same time we were traumatized nonetheless.

Meaning if we could just be good,

Then we could be happy.

So we take that thought process and we move forward trying to always do good and be good.

Not because that was our definition of what being good was.

It was someone else's definition but that was the definition that we had to take on in order to survive.

In order to be happy.

Not realizing that our happiness was not even our happiness.

Our happiness was the projection of someone else.

Of someone else's happiness.

That if that person perceived us as good,

Then everything would be okay.

So we've built our lives on a lie.

Constantly searching.

Constantly dealing with an inner war,

An inner turmoil of who we actually are.

Who we want to be and who we are striving to be.

Wondering if enough will ever be enough.

Wondering when we can have that peace.

I want you to know today that that peace lies within you.

That peace lies in knowing that you do not have to do more or be more in the eyes of anyone in order to be happy.

The judgments of others that we are terrified of.

We've been through so much and those judgments can do nothing to harm us.

We must strip down to recognize what it is we truly want.

What is it for us that will bring us into alignment with who we are truly meant to be?

That warm feeling on the inside of peace and comfort.

Where we can look at our lives and say that this is what I've always wanted.

Not because of what anyone else expects of us or what anyone else would have liked.

But because we are truly truly happy.

Because we have discovered our own authentic selves.

That alone is a reason to smile every single day.

So today I just want to ask you,

What is true for you?

Deep down to the depths of your soul.

What is true for who you want to be?

If you have that,

I commend you.

And if you have not quite reached there yet,

Know that the journey is one that you can find joy in.

As long as you choose to see the joy.

As long as you choose to stay in gratitude.

Knowing that every day you're getting closer and closer to meeting your true self.

Reuniting with your highest self and recognizing that your higher self has been with you all along.

You are worthy.

You are enough.

I love you.
