Prayer can sometimes feel intimidating.

You may worry that you don't have the right words or that you're not doing it correctly.

If you ever feel this way,

I want to encourage you to use the Lord's Prayer.

Jesus himself introduces this prayer to his disciples in Matthew 6 verse 9,

Saying,

This,

Then,

Is how you should pray.

This simple yet profound prayer is a powerful way to connect with God,

Especially in moments when you feel at a loss for words.

If you already know the prayer,

Feel free to join in and say it with me.

Or if you prefer,

Just listen and let the words wash over you.

As we begin,

Take a deep breath and center yourself.

Allow the words to permeate your mind,

Body,

And soul.

Let's begin.

Our Father,

Who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done,

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,

The power,

And the glory,

Forever and ever.

Amen.

Amen.

As we conclude this meditation,

Remember that God is never too far away.

He is always listening,

Always present,

Even in the moments when you feel most alone or uncertain.

May this prayer serve as a constant reminder of his love and guidance in your life.

Thank you for sharing this moment of reflection and connection.

May you go forth feeling renewed,

Supported,

And at peace.

Until next time,

Be well.
