Today we celebrate the return of light,

The balance of day and night.

Welcome to your spring equinox meditation.

Spring brings the promise of new growth.

Just as the earth awakens from its winter slumber,

This is your moment.

Your moment to awaken to new possibilities,

To plant the seeds of intention for a new season ahead.

So find your most comfortable position.

Maybe this is laying on your bed,

Or seated on your yoga mat,

Or in your most comfortable chair.

Wherever you are,

You cannot get this wrong.

This is your practice.

Notice,

Where could you make yourself just a bit more comfortable?

Shift your arms,

Shift your legs,

Roll your head from side to side.

Then come to stillness.

Connect to your breath.

Place one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly.

Inhale deeply through your nose.

Feel your lungs expand.

Exhale slowly through your nose,

Completely.

Take three deep cleansing breaths,

Inhaling renewal and exhaling any heaviness lingering from the winter months.

Allow your breathing to return to its natural inhales and exhales through the nose.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest like the cycle of the seasons.

With each inhale,

Feel light and life enter your body.

And with each exhale,

Release that which no longer serves you.

As the earth prepares to bloom,

Reflect on the winter months.

What lessons did they bring you?

What did you learn about yourself during the quiet,

Introspective winter days?

Acknowledge these insights with gratitude.

Even in stillness,

Growth occurs.

Allow yourself to honor the rest and reflection that winter provided,

Knowing that it has prepared you for new growth.

Spring is a time of rebirth and renewal.

What dreams and desires are stirring within you?

What intention would you like to plant for the months ahead?

In your mind's eye,

See yourself in a beautiful garden.

See the rich,

Fertile soil.

Feel the warm sun on your skin.

Hear the birds in the clear blue sky above.

With each intention for spring,

Imagine yourself gently planting a seed into the soil.

Feel the earth between your fingertips,

Warm and ready to support your growth.

Plant as many seeds as you wish.

These could be intentions for self-love,

Courage,

Creativity,

Wellness,

Anything that resonates with your heart.

Once the seeds are planted,

See the garden,

The sunlight bathing your garden,

Nurturing your seeds with warmth and light,

Helping your intentions take root.

Feel a sense of trust and patience.

Just as the flowers bloom,

Your dreams will unfold in their own perfect timing.

Allow this vision to fill you with excitement,

Hope,

And energy.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Breathe in this new life,

This new chapter.

On your next breath,

Notice the air fill your body with vitality.

Bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Feel your body connected with the earth below.

Listen and repeat these affirmations for spring to yourself.

I am ready to grow.

I trust the timing of my dreams.

I rise to my potential with grace and joy.

Let these intentions settle into your soul.

When you are ready,

Bring yourself back to my voice.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Rotate your ankles and wrists,

And shift your head from side to side.

Gently flutter your eyes open.

And when you are ready,

There is no rush,

Begin to move your body,

Carrying that sense of renewal and possibility with you into your day,

Into your week,

And into your life.

Thank you for celebrating the arrival of spring.

May your intentions blossom beautifully in the season ahead.
