Camping in the forest.
And you are now sitting at the front of your tent.
With the coffee that you have just made on your camp stove.
The cup is warm and comforting in your hands.
It's early in the morning.
The morning sun is on your face and you are all alone.
You hear the birds singing.
And the gentle sway of the trees above you.
You feel a deep sense of peace and harmony.
You can smell the delicious,
Fresh scent of the trees and the damp earth.
Breathe in the magical qualities of the earth.
And let it fill you up with energy and vitality.
You're connected to the earth.
Let the earth hold you.
And recharge you.
Like filling up your internal batteries.
Bring your cup up to your nose and breathe in the delicious aroma of your drink.
Take a sit.
And savour every second of this.
The delicious warm liquid.
Nourishes your body and your soul.
It is absolutely heavenly.
You are so grateful for this drink.
You start to experience a sense of gratitude.
For being given this gift of a new day.
With each breath in.
Feel gratitude.
For your body.
For your lungs that are breathing.
And your heart that is beating.
For everything your body does for you on this physical plane.
Bring to mind.
Some things that you are truly grateful for today.
Big things and little things.
People that you love.
The gifts given to us by nature.
Your favourite things about the current season.
Colors.
Foods and drinks that you love.
All the simple pleasures that come with being human.
You may smile slightly.
As you begin to feel that gratitude flowing through your body.
And from this place of deep gratitude you say to yourself Today is a great day.
Today I will notice all the little magical moments.
I will nourish and move my body.
And I will rest when I need to.
Today I will show myself love and respect.
You feel so relaxed and calm.
Yet full of energy for the day.
You're at peace.
As you sit in front of your tent,
Relax in this place of gratitude.
