You make excellent points! In the last few years, a situation that basically flipped my life over, caused me to be overwhelmed with grief and find therapy and meditation. I’m so grateful to have had this awakening, although painful and challenging, my eyes are wide open and I can’t go back to sleep...finding my spirituality and coming into tune about fulfillment has changed everything... now in marriage counseling as my husband hasn’t caught up to as he calls it, “the new Dana “ (which is me, ultimately taking care of myself in as many ways as possible, having and using my voice...etc) - change is very uncomfortable for him and his negative high anxiety worst case scenario way of being. I have had Crohn’s disease for 37 years - so this shell of a body has been through hell and back. I took up meditation a couple years ago, as my awakening had me in a completely overwhelming state. I can’t even begin to say how much finding stillness and looking inward has changed this overwhelming place to a more calm understanding of my newfound grounded centered self...I now at least have an idea of the direction I want my life to go in...the type of job I would love to get, which has more to do with helping others with my craft, than just a job to make money. I seek spiritual fulfillment now, a job that connects with my heart, more than my pocketbook. I will find that job and it WILL be amazing...I’m the eternal optimist and will find my way in this body I was given, and although I have a grumpy husband, my light shines BRIGHT (even with all my health issues) and I want to spread THAT around! hopefully marriage counseling gives us ways to stay connected after 25 years together. If not, I will not allow my light to be dimmed by him or anyone else for that matter.. it’s my time to shine (I’m 55 and better late than never!) and give back ❤️✨💫🌈 May you be well and happy! I need this reminder. Why do I forget and my mind take me away and isolate me, block me from living. The part about the body dying, finite, but I will carry on.
Having that inner faith and belief. That there is more than here on this earth, in this lifetime.
My core fear has had me running away from hurt, avoiding, wasting time elsewhere, but being nowhere but in my head, and then fear of running out of time.
Which is a complete contradiction.
I see where I am stuck. 🌈💖💞🥰🧘🏻‍♀️🙏
