The Life of a Butterfly In the garden where flowers bloom,

A tiny egg finds its room.

On a leaf it clings so tight,

A hidden gem out of sight.

Days go by and the egg does shake.

A new life stirs,

Soon to wake.

From the shell,

With a wiggle and squirm,

Emerges a caterpillar,

Ready to learn.

Hungry mouth,

It chomps and chews.

On fresh green leaves,

It renews.

Growing bigger,

Day by day,

Eating,

Munching,

All the way.

Striped and speckled,

Colors bright.

It's a sight,

A pure delight.

Yet this phase will not last long,

For change is coming,

Nature's song.

Full and plump,

It finds a place,

A safe and comfortable resting space.

A chrysalis forms,

Tight and round,

Hanging still,

Without a sound.

Inside the shell,

A magic stirs.

Cells transform and vision blurs.

The caterpillar starts to shift,

Becoming something new,

A lovely gift.

Days pass by and the shell grows thin.

A crack appears and light pours in.

From within,

New life springs.

The butterfly's life now begins.

Wings unfurl,

Soft and wet.

Colors vivid,

Hard to forget.

They stretch and dry,

In the sun,

A masterpiece,

Second to none.

The butterfly flutters,

Light as air,

Free to roam,

Without a care.

It dances on the breeze so high,

A living rainbow in the sky.

From flower to flower,

It sips sweet nectar,

A graceful wanderer,

Nature's connector.

It spreads pollen as it flies,

Ensuring life beneath the skies.

Its journey now has reached its peak,

But life's circle is never weak.

The butterfly finds a mate to see,

That life continues,

Wild and free.

Eggs are laid and leaves are new.

The cycle starts,

Old and true.

What once was egg,

Then caterpillar,

Is now a butterfly,

Life's great splendor.

And so it goes through day and night.

The cycle spins in endless flight.

From egg to wings that touch the sky,

The butterfly lives to glorify.

The garden hums with nature's tune,

From dawn's light to evening's moon.

The butterfly,

In beauty's grace,

Fulfills its role in life's embrace.

Each phase a step,

Each step a dance,

In the wondrous world of circumstance.

From crawling inch to soaring high,

A transformation,

A natural sigh.

So next you see a butterfly,

Remember how it came to fly.

From tiny egg to winged delight,

A marvel born in nature's light.

The life it lives,

Though brief and small,

Is part of something vast and tall.

A reminder that,

In life's grand scheme,

Change is an endless,

Constant theme.

And as it flits from bloom to bloom,

It carries with it life's perfume.

A symbol of hope,

Of growth,

Of change,

In the world's eternal range.

The butterfly's life is a tale to tell,

Of how to break free from one's shell.

To rise,

To fly,

To touch the sky,

To soar free and not be shy.

And when it's time for the butterfly's rest,

It lays its eggs and does its best.

To ensure that life will carry on,

In the quiet of a morning dawn.

Thus the cycle starts anew,

With the morning's sweet fresh dew.

Begins again in nature's belief,

A tiny egg upon a leaf.

The End.
