Hello friends,

My name is Wendy Bush and I'm going to read you a story called Oscar Meets an Angel.

In a world where stars softly gleam,

Lived an angel clear,

Like a dream.

Her wings of light and heart so pure,

Her love for all was true and sure.

One summer evening,

Under a twilight sky,

A cat named Oscar wandered by.

With eyes like emeralds,

Soft and bright,

He roamed alone in the gentle night.

Lost and confused,

He wandered far,

Guided only by a distant star.

He meowed for help,

His heart in fright,

When Claire descended,

Bathed in light.

Fear not,

Dear Oscar,

Claire did say,

I'll help you find your way.

With a gentle smile,

She took his paw,

And off they soared without a flaw.

They flew over mountains capped with snow,

Where the moonlit rivers gently flow.

They danced through fields of blooming flowers,

Savoring the beauty of the twilight hours.

Through forests deep with ancient trees,

Whispering secrets to the breeze,

They paused by lakes so calm and clear,

Reflecting stars that seemed so near.

They crossed the deserts,

Vast and wide,

Where golden sands in silence bide.

They marveled at the dunes so grand,

A timeless,

Endless sea of land.

Over cities bustling with life,

Where every street with joy was rife,

They saw the lights that twinkled bright,

A testament to human might.

They journeyed to the ocean's shore,

Where waves did crash and seagulls soar.

Oscar gazed at the endless sea,

A world so vast,

So wild,

So free.

Through valleys green and rolling hills,

Past quiet towns and old windmills,

They travelled far,

Yet Oscar knew With angel clear his fears were so few.

Finally,

Beneath a sky so grand,

They found his home so close at hand,

With gratitude Oscar purred so sweet,

Thanking Claire for the wondrous feat.

Dear Oscar,

Claire whispered,

Soft and low,

Remember always,

Love will show The path to take,

The way to roam,

And lead you safely,

Always home.
