I created this meditation after being inspired by Jon Kabat-Zinn's book "The Full Catastrophe of Life" in combination with working with a client who has had stored tension in the area of his upper back. It is ideal for anyone who wants to destress after a long day at work or who has felt chronic tension and stress in the area of the upper back/shoulders, neck, and face, or someone simply looking to unwind. The meditation is intended to be listened to in a lying position, even in bed. I hope it helps you feel more at ease and release the tension in your body.
