Welcome to this meditation.
I thank you for practicing with me today,
Allowing yourself a moment to become present in this space and time.
I invite you to find a comfortable position for yourself.
The theme of this practice is connection.
We are going to take this moment to allow ourselves to be connected with our hearts and the energy pathways outside of our bodies.
Everyone has their own energy,
And we bring our own energy to the table each day,
In each scenario,
And in each atmosphere.
When you're ready,
Either narrow the eyes or close the eyes.
Place the hands over the heart.
I want you to bring your awareness to the temperature underneath your hands,
The thumping of your heartbeat,
The rise and the fall of your chest.
This is your center.
This is your internal battery.
Allow yourself to stay with the beat of your heart.
When you're ready,
Take a nice deep breath.
Exhale.
When you're ready,
Take a deep breath.
Exhale.
When you're ready,
Go ahead and take this final deep breath.
Hands still on that heart,
Feeling your internal battery.
Exhale.
Go ahead and mindfully place your hands on your knees.
Whether you're sitting or laying down,
I want you to think about the energy you bring,
How it feels,
How it may feel to others.
Think about what you will want your energy to feel like today.
This is an opportunity to show up in the ways that you want.
I want you to bring your mind to whatever intention you may want for your day.
Go ahead.
Say it to yourself.
Place the palms upright.
Receive whatever energy you need in this moment.
I want you to rub your hands back together at whatever speed speaks to you.
And place the hands back on the heart.
Just know you are exactly where you need to be at this moment,
In time,
In this space,
In this atmosphere.
As you go forth today,
Remember your intentions.
Remember your energy.
Your energy enters the room before you do.
The yogi in me honors the yogi in you.
