Hi,
I'm Tracy.
I'm a holistic health and sound healing practitioner.
And in this video,
I want to talk about what is sound healing.
Sound healing is a wellness practice that uses vibrational frequencies to guide the body and mind into a state of deep relaxation and restoration.
During a sound healing session,
A practitioner uses different kinds of instruments.
It may be crystal singing bowls,
Gongs.
Or maybe a hand pendulum.
And these vibrations interact with your body on a cellular level,
Helping to shift your brainwaves out of a stressed,
Active state and into a calm,
Meditative space.
The way it works is that sound healing helps transition the brain waves from active,
Analytical,
Better waves to deeply relaxed alpha and theta waves.
This is the exact state where profound mental and physical restoration occurs.
There is many benefits of sound healing.
Because sound waves travel easily through water and the human body is roughly 60% water,
These physical vibrations can offer a wide range of benefits for both the nervous system and overall well-being.
It helps with deep stress relief that rapidly calms the sympathetic nervous system.
It helps with reduced anxiety and mood boosts.
Soothing rhythms encourage the release of feel-good hormones like endorphins,
Dopamine,
Serotonin.
Helping to dissolve emotional tension and mental chatter.
And it helps with enhanced mental clarity.
Clearing away structural mental noise can leave you feeling deeply grounded,
Focused,
And re-centered.
Some of the physical benefits include improved sleep quality,
Physical relaxation,
And chronic pain management.
The physical vibrations can help ease muscle tension,
Lower blood pressure,
And slow down a racing heart rate.
While it's not a medical cure,
Many find that deep relaxation induced by sound therapy reduces the body's perception of pain and inflammation.
You don't need to do or achieve anything during a sound healing session.
The best approach is simply to lay down,
Close your eyes and let the sound wash over you.
I hope this video is helpful for you if you're looking into sound healing,
Just starting maybe or possibly considering start soon.
It is something very beneficial and I hope you will enjoy some of the sessions that I'll be doing soon.
