Hi,
Welcome to this five minute visualization meditation.
You can come back and listen to it as many times as you need.
Start with settling yourself into a comfortable position,
Allowing your body to relax and feel supported.
You can close your eyes gently or keep a soft unfocused gaze.
While you're taking a moment to settle in,
Feel your body connecting with the surface beneath you.
Let your shoulders drop and gently relax your jaw.
Take a slow deep breath in and as you exhale feel your body release any tension.
Now bring your attention to your breath.
Notice its natural rhythm.
Feel the air as it enters and leaves your body.
There's no need to change anything,
Just simply observe.
For the next few minutes,
We're going to create a calm and peaceful place in your mind.
This is your personal sanctuary,
A place where you feel completely safe,
Relaxed,
And at ease.
It could be a beach,
A forest,
A cozy room,
Or anywhere you can imagine that brings you a sense of peace.
Start by vividly imagining the details of this place.
What do you see?
What do you hear?
What do you feel?
What do you smell?
Allow yourself to step into the scene feel yourself fully present in your calm place Take a few deep breaths here,
Soaking in the peace and tranquility.
Notice how your body feels when you are in this space,
Perhaps lighter,
More open,
Completely relaxed As you breathe in this calm place,
Imagine any stress or tension melting away from your body.
Dissolving into the peaceful surroundings.
With each exhale,
Release anything you don't need.
Allowing the serenity of your calm place to fill you up.
Your mind might still wander,
And that's perfectly okay.
When you notice your thoughts drifting,
Gently acknowledge them,
And then,
Without judgment,
Guide your attention back to the details of your calm place and the feeling of peace it brings you.
We will now spend a few moments in silence.
Allowing you to keep observing your breath and gently exploring your inner self.
For these final moments,
Just rest in the feeling of being in your calm place.
Let yourself be fully immersed in its comfort and serenity.
When you're ready,
Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your body and the space that you are in.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Gently open your eyes and take a moment to appreciate the feeling of calm you've cultivated within yourself.
Every time you meditate,
You are building a habit of presence and awareness.
Take one final gentle breath in and a slow releasing breath out.
