Finding the rhythm that's just right for you.

This journey tonight is about guiding you down a restful and rejuvenating deep sleep.

It's common for a busy mind to resist a leap from awake to sleep.

So,

I'm giving you one last chance to engage with those thoughts.

One last opportunity to sift through any worries or concerns that are barricading against your peace.

Go ahead,

Think about what's lingering in your mind.

But remember,

Each thought only gets one chance to be acknowledged before you let it go.

Your thoughts will come and go.

Gently tell them,

Okay,

I've noticed you,

Now it's time for you to leave.

Watch these thoughts present themselves.

Notice them becoming less frequent,

Less insistent.

Allow the edges of your eyes to soften.

Your jaw to be relaxed.

Your shoulders to drop.

Your breath,

Slow and steady,

Begins to deepen.

A sign of your readiness to release these final thoughts.

Telling any repeats,

You've had your moment,

Now I'll let you go for good.

You deserve the restful sleep that's so natural,

So essential.

Bringing your awareness to your bottom ribs,

Feel your body lengthen on the in-breath and widen on the out-breath.

Staying with the sensation of the ribs for a few more breaths.

Feel your body and mind becoming lighter as these concerns drift away.

Surrendering into the sensation of floating,

The most relaxed you've felt in ages.

Your breath,

A gentle rhythm,

Like a soft breeze,

Helping you relax in this moment.

And if you start thinking about this or that,

Come back to the rhythm of your breath.

Silently repeating drifting on the in-breath and floating on the out-breath.

Letting thoughts pass by.

Notice if you need to shift or move,

Getting more comfortable.

Slowing the breath down.

Your body welcomes a sleep it's missed.

Acknowledging thoughts and then firmly directing them to leave as lightens your mental load.

Your mind is kind,

Responsive to your guidance.

Feeling drifting as you inhale and floating as you exhale.

Imagine the softness of your pillow,

A cloud designed just for your rest.

Give thanks for its creation,

For the rest it promises.

My voice,

Now a distant comfort as the embrace of sleep draws near.

Deep sound sleep is yours.

Embrace the dreams that come.

Allow yourself this natural,

Deserved rest,

Every night,

Rejuvenating fully for the day ahead.

Breath is slow and steady.

Now,

Let my voice fade,

And with it,
