Hello everyone,

My name is Trey Henderson,

And if you're feeling stuck or you need a fresh outlook,

This meditation is just for you.

And today we're going to explore how shifting your perspective can bring clarity,

Open new possibilities or even change how you experience yourself and the world.

Stephen Covey once said,

We see the world not as it is,

But as we are or as we're conditioned to see it.

Our perception is often mirrored of our inner beliefs and assumptions.

And when we can shift our inner view,

We make space for new,

More empowering perspectives.

So if you're ready to break free from limiting beliefs and see things from a fresh angle,

Let's begin.

And also make sure you have your notifications turned off.

You have headphones,

Let people know that you're available during this time.

And you can do this meditation,

Sitting up or laying down,

I'm cool with each.

So go ahead and get comfortable and close your eyes and let your eyelids soften,

Becoming so relaxed that even if you wanted to open them,

It would just take too much effort.

Allow your focus to settle in the center of your mind and bring your awareness to each exhalation.

Let the breath become slow and rhythmic as you relax into this moment you've set aside for yourself.

Maybe it's been one of those days where you felt caught up in familiar patterns,

Or perhaps you've been seeing things in ways that feel limited or challenging.

Whatever it is,

Allow any thoughts or feelings or resistance to come forward.

Get clear on any fixed perspectives that may be holding you back.

And breathe gently and notice them as they rise to the surface.

Now imagine that you have a special lens,

One that lets you see beyond your usual way of thinking.

Picture all those thoughts of stuckness or limitation becoming smaller and smaller.

So tiny,

They're barely visible.

You don't have to force them away,

Simply allow them to drift into the distance,

Giving yourself permission to see beyond them.

Feel yourself taking charge now,

The leader of your mind.

Picture yourself standing up,

Firmly rooted in your inner strength,

Declaring,

I choose to see differently.

Inside your mind,

Repeat this powerful choice,

I am open to new perspectives.

Breathe in,

Feeling the expansion of possibility,

And breathe out,

Releasing any need to hold on to old ways of thinking.

Breathe in the word open on your inhalation,

And breathe out the word perspective on your exhalation.

Breathe in open,

Breathe out perspective.

Listen to the sound of my voice as it carries you across time and space,

Letting your unconscious mind reveal to you an image of a peaceful path,

Winding up a mountain where you can rest and take in the view.

Imagine standing on top of this beautiful mountain,

Overlooking an endless landscape.

With your feet firmly planted on the earth,

Feel the vastness of openness before you.

Breathe in open,

Breathe out perspective.

And repeat this for a few more breaths,

Breathing in the word open,

And breathing out the word perspective.

As you feel supported by the earth below you,

Imagine your mind gently expanding.

What becomes possible when you allow yourself to see things differently?

Let this openness fill you with curiosity and wonder,

And repeat these words,

I am open to new perspectives.

Fill these words as truth,

Filling your entire body.

Let this sense of openness travel through your legs and hips,

To your heart,

Your throat,

Your head,

And all the way to the top of your head.

Allow your mind to explore,

I am open to new ideas,

I am open to new paths,

I am open to new solutions.

Feel the power of these words moving throughout your body,

And to every cell.

Picture yourself on that mountain,

In a victory pose,

Arms raised to the sky,

Embracing this new way of seeing,

Committing to the perspective that empowers you,

That serves you,

And that loves you.

Out of the corner of your eye,

You notice a serene bench near you,

Where you can rest and take in the view.

Notice the surroundings,

The scenery,

The color,

The temperature,

The gentle light of day.

Go ahead and sit on the bench,

And take a moment to settle in,

Feeling supported and grounded.

This is a place of comfort and clarity,

Where you can rest and receive.

Feel your entire being open to the peacefulness of this space,

Letting go of any tension.

Breathe in open,

And breathe out perspective.

Here on this bench,

With this panoramic view stretching before you,

You sense a gentle shift in perspective.

You don't have to try to see things differently.

The change comes naturally,

Simply by being here.

And in this place,

You have the space you need to breathe fully and slowly,

Feeling each breath bringing in new clarity.

This bench is your space,

Where nothing from the outside world can reach you,

Unless you invite it.

Each breath here is for you alone,

Helping you find a balance and insight that you seek.

So now,

Simply rest in this sense of perspective,

Allowing yourself to be fully present here until my voice returns.

As you slowly bring your attention back to the sound of my voice,

Gently start to focus on your inhalations,

Allowing each breath to make you feel a bit more alert and awake.

Draw your attention now to the center of your heart,

Listening deeply for any final guidance or insights that may be present.

Take with you what feels most important or most meaningful.

Now,

Give yourself three longer,

Slower,

Deeper breaths,

Letting each one help you anchor what you've gained here,

A new perspective,

A sense of clarity,

Or whatever resonates most with you.

Gradually shift your focus down to your feet,

Gently rotating your ankles and pointing and flexing to reconnect with your body.

Feel the energy flow down to your arms,

Opening and closing your hands,

And even give yourself a giant stretch if that feels good.

Let your awareness travel up to your throat,

Feeling at ease there,

Your jaw soft and edges of your eyes relaxed.

With your next breath,

Whenever you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes,

Feeling alert,

Refreshed,

And open to new perspectives ahead.

I said Stephen Covey's quote at the beginning of this meditation,

We see the world,

Not as it is,

But as we are,

Or as we're conditioned to see it.

And remember that each moment holds a new opportunity for a new perspective.

And I hope that you really continue to see your world,

And even yourself,

With a fresh set of eyes and an open heart.

And I totally appreciate you for being here,

And until next time,

Take care.
