Welcome,

Kindred spirit,

To this guided meditation,

The Present Awareness Body Check.

My name is Tondre Olle,

And I will be your guide on this journey.

This experience is designed to help you move from chaos to clarity by shifting your focus from the worries of the mind to the safety of the present moment.

And we will practice the art of allowing,

Moving from unconscious reaction to conscious response so you can recognize the abundance that is already right here,

Right now.

Now find a comfortable position,

Take a deep breath,

And prepare to remember the magnificent power of who you truly are.

Close your eyes or soften your gaze,

Take a deep breath into your nose and let it out through your mouth with a sigh.

Let's begin by acknowledging that you are here.

Whatever chaos,

Whatever noise,

Whatever challenges life has thrown your way recently,

You are still here.

In this moment,

We practice the art of allowing.

We are not here to fix anything.

We are not here to figure out the how.

We are simply here to be.

Breathe in trust,

Breathe out worry.

Now let's do a body check.

When the mind tries to run into the future,

The body holds the truth of the present.

Bring your awareness to your feet.

Are they in pain right now?

If not,

Say to yourself,

Thank you.

Move your awareness to your legs,

Your hips,

Your spine.

Is there any immediate danger here?

No,

You are safe.

Say to yourself,

I am safe.

Bring your awareness to your chest and your heart.

Feel it beating.

You didn't have to ask it to beat.

Source energy is flowing through you effortlessly.

Say to yourself,

I am supported.

Check your hands,

The hands that can touch,

Feel,

And create.

Check your ears,

Hearing my voice.

Check your breath.

You have your senses.

You are alive.

In this exact second,

Not five minutes from now,

Not last week.

In this second,

You are okay.

Now observe your mind.

Thoughts may come,

Worries about money,

Worries about a car,

Worries about the future.

Remember,

You are not your thoughts.

Imagine those thoughts are just clouds passing in the sky.

You are not the clouds.

You are the sky.

When a worry arise,

Don't fight it.

Just look at it and say,

I see you,

But I choose to be present.

You cannot control the external world.

You cannot control the traffic,

The economy,

Or the unexpected delays,

But you can control this breath.

You can control your response.

Ship from unconscious reaction to conscious response.

Now let's expand our awareness to the environment.

With your eyes still closed,

Sense the room around you.

Acknowledge the roof over your head and say,

Thank you for this shelter.

Think of the food in your refrigerator.

You are not starving.

Say thank you for this nourishment.

Think of the bed or chair you're resting on and say thank you for this comfort.

Feel the abundance of simply being aware.

Most people are sleepwalking through life,

Reacting to every bump in the road,

But you are awake.

You possess the wisdom to pause.

Your cup runneth over,

Not because of what is in your bank account,

But because of what is in your spirit.

Feel that gratitude filling your chest like golden light.

As we bring this session to a close,

Make a vow to your higher self.

Repeat silently or aloud,

I trust the flow of life.

I trust that I am guided.

I trust that even the pauses are protection.

There is power in my pause.

Take one final deep breath in,

Filling your lungs with the present moment,

And exhale,

Releasing all need to control.

When you are ready,

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

As you gently open your eyes and return to the room,

Remember this.

Peace is not just something you find on a cushion.

It is something you carry into the fire.

The world may try to offer you chaos,

But you now hold the key to clarity.

You have remembered that you are not a victim of your circumstances.

You are the alchemist of your moment.

You are source energy in motion.

So my challenge to you is this,

Don't just feel the peace,

Be the peace.

When the traffic stops,

When the plans change,

When the pressure arises,

Do not react,

Respond.

Return to the breath,

Return to this body,

And there is power in your pause.

So stand firm in your power.
