Good morning.
Before your feet hit the floor,
Before the to-do list starts running.
Let's just take a few minutes here together.
You don't have to fix anything right now.
You don't have to figure anything out.
This is just a pause before the day asks anything of you.
Go ahead and take a breath in.
And let it out slowly.
If your mind is already busy,
That's okay.
Overthinking minds don't just turn off because we ask them to.
Believe me,
I've tried bargaining with mine too.
So instead of trying to quiet your thoughts,
Let's just notice them.
They're here,
And that's it.
You don't have to solve them or do anything with them this morning.
They will still be there later for you.
I promise.
They're not going anywhere.
Let's take another breath in.
And let it out.
Just feel where your body is right now.
Maybe you're sitting up in bed or standing,
Or maybe you're still lying down.
Notice the weight of your body being held by the mattress,
The chair,
The floor.
You're supported right now.
You don't have to hold yourself up alone.
Breathe in.
And let it out.
As thoughts about today start to surface.
The meetings,
The errands.
Maybe the conversation that you're dreading.
Just let them pass through,
Like the weather.
They can be there without needing your full attention just yet.
There will be time for all of that.
Right now,
This time is just for you.
One more breath in.
And slowly out.
As we close,
Let's set an intention.
Not for productivity.
We're not doing that today.
But for how you want to move through today.
Maybe it's ease.
Maybe it's patience with yourself.
Maybe it's just getting through with a little bit more groundedness than yesterday.
Maybe a little bit less arguing with your alarm clock.
Whatever it is.
Just let it be enough.
When you're ready.
Let's gently open your eyes,
Or if they're already open,
Let your gaze soften back into the room.
You're grounded.
You're here.
And you're ready exactly as you are.
Have a good morning.
Come back tomorrow morning and reset with me again.
