Hello and welcome to The Breathing Room.

My name is Kavita.

Tonight we're stepping into the Golden Garden.

It's a magical place where you can release the past,

Honor your heart,

And drift peacefully into sleep.

Let's begin our journey together for this bedtime fairy tale meditation.

Once upon a time there was a woman who walked to the edge of a quiet forest.

She carried a satchel filled with stones.

Each stone was a memory.

Each stone was a story from her past.

Some were smooth with joy.

Others jagged with sorrow.

But all together they felt so heavy.

As she stood there,

A gentle glow appeared among the trees.

The glow took the form of a radiant figure,

Ishtar,

The goddess of love and of war.

She teaches on boundaries and duality.

Ishtar wrapped a shimmering golden cloak around the woman's shoulders.

And in a voice as soft as moonlight she whispered,

This light belongs to you.

It will protect you.

It will keep safe what is precious.

And it will gently turn away what does not belong.

The woman sighed with relief.

She placed the satchel of stones down at her feet.

And the earth opened up,

Soft as moss,

And welcomed the weight of the stones,

Drawing them deep into the soil.

And the earth whispered,

You don't need to carry the past anymore.

The woman felt lighter.

She felt freer.

And she began to walk deeper into the forest.

Soon she came upon a clearing where two rivers met.

One river sparkled with sunlight.

The other shimmered with moonlight.

She knelt by the waters and dipped her hands into both at once.

The rivers blended together in her palms,

Warmth and coolness,

Joy and sorrow,

Strength and tenderness.

And the river sang to her,

All parts of you belong.

Every part of you is welcome.

Together you are whole.

The woman's heart glowed as she walked on.

Her steps became softer.

Her breath became slower.

The forest carried her gently forward,

As if guiding her towards something important.

At last,

She reached a vast garden,

Stretching endlessly beneath a sky filled with stars.

The soil was rich,

Fertile and waiting.

The air shimmered with possibility.

And the garden itself spoke in a voice both deep and kind.

This is the place of beginnings.

Here dreams are planted like seeds.

Here what you wish may take root.

Place your intention in the soil,

And it will grow.

The woman knelt,

Holding in her hands a single seed of light.

Her truest wish,

Her quiet hope.

She pressed the seed gently into the earth.

And as she did,

The stars above poured their light down.

The seed shimmered with infinite possibility.

The soil held it,

The earth nurtured it.

And the woman felt joy bubbling through her chest,

As if she were both the gardener and the garden.

Both the dreamer and the dream.

Slowly she laid down in the soft grass of the garden.

Her golden cloak wrapped around her like the warmest blanket.

The soil beneath her cradled her like a bed.

The stars above watched over her with tenderness.

And the rivers in the distance kept singing,

You are whole,

You are free,

You are safe.

Her body softened.

Her breath slowed.

And as she drifted,

She knew that her seed was already growing.

Quietly,

Perfectly,

In its own time.

And so she rested.

Protected,

Free,

Whole,

And full of infinite possibility.

And now as the golden garden surrounds you with soft light and peaceful energy,

Allow yourself to drift fully into rest.

Sleep deeply.

Dream gently.

And know that all is well.

Goodnight.
