Take a deep breath in and hold and then sigh it out,

Let your eyes soften or perhaps even close and feel your feet pressing into the ground,

Your seat supporting you and notice that the earth is lifting up to hold you up,

Bring focus and attention to your breath and with every inhale imagine a gentle light filling your body and with each exhale let go of what you no longer need,

See yourself now as a strong tree,

Roots spreading down deep into the soil,

Branches lifting and stretching up to the morning sky,

This is a new day and say to yourself quietly,

I am here,

I am now,

I am present,

Carry this rooted steadiness with you into the rest of your day and thank you for being here.
