Close your eyes,
And settle into a comfortable position.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Release any tension you feel in your body.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to become more grounded,
More present.
Now imagine yourself standing at the edge of a familiar path,
A path that you've walked countless times.
The sky above is a gentle grey,
And in the distance,
You can see the outline of a storm forming.
The storm represents your anxiety.
With each inhale,
Feel your feet planted firmly on the ground,
And with each exhale,
Release any resistance to the storm.
You know it's there,
And instead of turning away,
Accept its presence.
Imagine walking forward,
Towards the storm.
The wind begins to pick up,
Symbolizing the rising feelings of fear,
Uncertainty and stress.
Yet you continue walking,
Calm and steady.
As you move closer,
The wind grows stronger,
And the clouds darken.
And notice your body,
How firmly grounded you remain.
With every step,
Breathe in deeply,
And as you exhale,
Feel the tension leave your body.
I cannot control the storm,
But I can control how I walk through it.
The storm is here,
Swirling around you,
But you are not afraid,
Instead,
You accept it as part of your journey.
It is not something to be fought or resisted,
It simply is.
As you stand in the midst of the storm,
Take a deep breath in,
And slowly exhale,
Releasing your grip on any fear.
Breathe in strength,
And breathe out fear.
Breathe in presence,
Breathe out tension.
This storm will pass.
Anxiety,
Like all emotions,
Is temporary.
You have the power to walk through it,
With grace.
Feel the wind softening now,
The storm clouds begin to part and drift away,
Leaving you standing tall,
Steady and at peace.
Inhale I accept this moment,
And exhale I release the need to control.
