Good morning and welcome.
This is a gentle positive beginning.
We're creating a safe space for you to start your day feeling grounded,
Positive and optimistic.
This is a space for you to pause,
To breathe and gently return to yourself.
So make yourself comfortable now.
My favourite way to do this meditation is lying in bed still cosy and warm before my day begins.
But you could just as easily be sitting upright comfy and supported somewhere ready to start your day.
Do whatever feels best for you in this moment.
And when you're ready allow your eyes to gently close and take a slow gentle breath in.
And let that breath out.
And repeat that process.
Take a slow deep breath in.
Let that breath gently back out again.
Welcome to a new day.
A fresh beginning.
A new opportunity to begin again.
A space where anything is possible.
Feel your body awakening gently.
No rush,
No pressure.
Just a gentle sensation of each cell,
Each muscle gently coming back to life.
Now take another slow breath in,
Filling your lungs with fresh energising oxygen.
And then breathe out,
Letting go of any heaviness from yesterday or from the dreams that you may have experienced during the night.
As you breathe in,
Visualise the bright energising oxygen particles flowing through your body and reawakening each part of your body.
Notice how you feel,
Without any judgement,
Just gently observing what's happening now within your body and within your mind.
And now bring your awareness to your heart and quietly set an intention for today.
It can be something very simple.
Maybe today I move through my day with ease.
Or perhaps today I choose kindness towards myself and others.
Today I trust myself and the universe.
Or maybe just today my path will be joyful in every way.
Feel a gentle sense of possibility.
This day does not need to be perfect,
It just needs to be lived.
And so many wonderful things are possible for you today.
Imagine a soft golden light in your heart space,
Rising with the morning sun,
Filling you with warmth and energy and clarity.
And let that light move through your body,
Awakening each and every part of you.
You are allowed to take this day one step at a time,
There is no need to rush.
Gently remind yourself,
I am capable.
I am grounded.
I am ready for today.
And now take a big deep breath in.
And as you release the breath,
Begin to bring small movements back into your body.
Just a tiny wiggle of your fingers or toes.
And then perhaps some bigger movements.
And when you're ready to face the day,
Open your eyes.
And carry this calm steady energy into your day.
And remember,
You can return to this space whenever you need it.
