Hello and welcome to this guided meditation in the sounds of nature.

I invite you to find a comfortable position,

Whether sitting or lying down in a quiet space.

I invite you to close your eyes and let me guide you on a soothing journey,

Surrounded by the sounds of nature.

At this point,

Close your eyes and start breathing consciously through the nose and out of the nose.

Inhaling,

Finding your own pace.

I'd like you to imagine that you're in a beautiful place somewhere in nature,

Somewhere that feels comfortable to you.

Maybe a place you've been before,

Somewhere where you would find refuge as a child,

Or maybe somewhere you've been on holiday.

Imagine that place.

See that place.

See the birds fluttering.

Maybe hear the river nearby.

Feel the warmth of the air.

You can see trees swaying in the wind,

Buzzing around.

Imagine yourself in this comforting place.

There might be sun warming your face into this beautiful,

Serene surroundings of nature.

Imagine you might find yourself on a meandering path.

And as you walk down that path,

You take in the beauty of this natural surrounding.

You might see some beautiful birds fluttering around.

And as you keep walking down that path,

You might see a clearing in the landscape,

An opening,

And some beautiful views,

Mountainous views,

Big expansive views that take your breath away.

Feel this into your body.

Enjoy this feeling.

Take in the beauty and the joy of such spectacular natural landscape.

And then carry on your walk down this path.

You walk and you walk,

Taking it all in,

Breathing it all in.

Imagine some beautiful-looking,

Inviting grass,

Big field,

And you feel inclined to lying on the grass,

Looking up at the sky,

Listening to the sound of nature.

Enjoy it as you dream away.

To become aware of your body.

Become aware of your surroundings.

And as you become aware of your body,

You might want to wiggle your toes,

Gently move your fingers,

And to invite you to maybe tap on your chest,

Gently with your fingers.

And also tap on your face,

Above your eyes.

And when you're ready,

To open your eyes and gently gaze around the room.

And just slowly coming back into the here and now.

I hope you've enjoyed this journey.

Be kind to yourself for the rest of the day or evening.

Drink plenty of water.

And enjoy the soothing effect that this journey has had on you.
