I'm Soleil.
Vedic meditation is a transcendence-based technique used to transcend the mind and bring us to that deep place of stillness and inner peace.
Your mantra given to you by your teacher has a sound quality to it,
A resonance that is alluring for the mind,
Drawing your awareness within,
And you naturally dive into the meditative state,
Into transcendence.
Let's start by sitting comfortably,
With your back supported,
Head and neck unsupported,
And close your eyes.
Take a few grounding breaths to settle into the practice,
Breathing in deeply and out fully.
Come now to your most natural state of breathing,
And when you're ready,
Introduce your mantra,
Effortlessly thinking it like any other thought.
We are not wanting to control or force anything,
Just allowing the mantra to be there in the background of your awareness.
During the meditation,
We have no expectations of any outcome,
Just taking it as it comes.
Relax.
Don't mind the time.
I will bring you out.

Remaining here with your eyes closed for two minutes.
There is nothing you need to do in this time.
We are just bridging the gap from being in a meditative state,
To being ready to come into our waking state.
And when you're ready,
Begin to open your eyes.
Initially having a 45-degree angle gaze,
Allowing the gentle light to come into your awareness.
