Hello little one.
It's time to let your body relax and rest.
So snuggle into your bed.
And get extra cozy.
Maybe your blanket feels warm and soft.
Maybe your pillow feels nice beneath your head.
Now when you're ready,
Take a slow gentle breath in through your nose.
And softly breathe out through your mouth.
Like you were gently blowing a little cloud across the sky.
Good.
Again,
Slowly breathing in through your nose.
And softly blowing out through your mouth blowing the little cloud across the sky One more time,
Slowly breathing in.
And breathing out nice and slowly watching the little cloud drift far,
Far away.
Good.
Now just let your breathing return to normal.
And close your eyes if they're not already.
No matter what happened today.
You can let go of the day now.
The day is finished.
And tomorrow's a brand new day.
It's time to rest now.
Now imagine in your mind.
A tiny soft star.
Glowing gently just at the top of your forehead.
And the little star feels warm.
Peaceful.
And calm.
As the star softly shines on your forehead.
Your forehead begins to relax.
Now the little star drifts down towards your eyes.
Helping your eyes feel heavy and relaxed.
Now the star moves down to your cheeks.
Down to your jaw.
Your jaw feeling soft And now the little star drifts down to your shoulders.
And your shoulders soften and melt down.
Now the light of the star moves down your arms.
Through your hands.
All the way to your fingers.
Soft and relaxed.
Now the little star moves into your chest.
And tummy.
Your breathing stays slow.
And gentle.
Softly breathing in.
And softly breathing out.
And if thoughts pop into your mind,
That's okay.
You can just imagine them floating far away like soft clouds drifting across the sky.
No need to follow them,
Just letting them drift on by.
Now the little star drifts down your legs.
To your knees,
Your feet.
Your ankles and even your little toes can rest now.
Your whole body feels soft.
Heavy.
Peaceful.
And calm.
Time to rest now.
Your breathing is slow and gentle.
Your whole body feels safe.
And relax.
Now let yourself drift gently into peaceful dreams.
Goodnight,
Little one.
