Getting comfortable,
Making any final adjustments you need to.
And then starting to take some deep,
Slow,
Relaxing breaths.
In through your nose,
And out through your nose.
With each breath,
Getting calmer,
Stiller,
And feeling more safety.
You are so appreciated.
There are so many intricacies about you that have me forever interested.
I could listen to you talk all day about your life.
I know what a privilege that is,
Because you don't share everything with everyone.
So when I get to know you,
I feel special.
I feel cared for,
And I feel genuinely loved because you're letting me in.
You are one of the most important people in my life.
There is something about you that I have no words for,
But no matter what,
I always know I can rely on you because of your special and sparkly energy.
You may not be there for the day-to-day,
But you are there for the big things.
And you make time,
No matter what is on,
If you're needed.
I know I can rely on you,
And I know I can rest when I'm around you.
I don't need to pretend to be someone I'm not,
Because I know that you accept me,
And care for me,
And you would never judge me.
You have such a depth to you.
You're able to sit in the hard feelings without letting them overwhelm you,
But you allow and you trust yourself.
You allow your body to do what it needs to.
You rest when you need it.
You laugh when you need it,
And you cry when you need it.
You are so incredibly intelligent.
You can read people better than anyone else.
You know exactly what to say to make someone feel better.
And you always make people feel comfortable.
I think it's because you've known and craved that for so long.
Because of that,
You are the most welcoming,
The most delightful person to be around.
I love that you let people care for you,
And because you don't let everyone do it.
You don't let everyone see the soft side of you.
It's such a pleasure.
You are also one of the funniest people I have ever met.
Just being around you is a magical day,
Purely because of your energy.
Your soul is so bright,
You can see it in your eyes.
You shine and you glow in a world that feels so dark.
You don't let anything stop you being you.
You don't let the darkness of the world stop you shining.
And you haven't made the hardness of the world make you hard as well.
You have remained this soft,
Nourishing,
Loving creature,
No matter what has been thrown at you.
You are the first person to see when other people have made effort and acknowledge and thank them for it.
I feel so loved and privileged to know you.
Every moment I spend with you is a blessing.
Every second.
Every single second.
Not only are you smart and intelligent,
You are beautiful.
You are so radiant,
And you are so courageous.
You know who you are,
And you don't let other people impact that.
No matter what their thoughts are,
You are true to yourself.
And that's why you are such a grounding presence.
I can feel how open your heart is.
And how even when it feels scary to love and let people in,
You still do.
And you acknowledge that everyone is human and is going to make mistakes,
Including yourself.
So you have empathy and kindness.
You have understanding.
And you know that to grow,
