A warm welcome to this guided meditation.
Where you will connect to your body on a deeper level.
Finding love.
Acceptance and positivity.
Find yourself a comfortable position to sit today.
Or if you prefer,
You can lie down.
And when you are ready,
Let's take five deep breaths together.
So,
Breathe in through your nose.
And breathe out through your mouth.
Breathe in.
.
.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
.
.
And breathe out.
Breathe in.
.
.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
.
.
And breathe out.
Last one,
Breathe in… and breathe out.
And now you can just breathe in a natural way for you.
You might be joining me in this session because today might be a particularly difficult day.
Already,
I want you to acknowledge that the simple act of showing up is an act of self-love.
Let this be a reminder that you do care about yourself.
You do want the best for yourself.
And that is wonderful.
As we move your awareness around your body,
Together we can unlock even more gratitude and love.
And develop a brand new appreciation for your body and all that it does for you.
Appreciation for who you are today.
Place your hands over your heart now and simply thank it.
Thank it for everything that it does for you.
It is your source of life.
Of love.
And of connection to yourself and others.
You let your hands move over your chest and around your ribcage,
Thanking your lungs for the ability to breathe.
And now your stomach.
Thanking it for burning all the fuel that you need to tackle each day with energy.
You touch your throat now,
Thanking it for the voice it gives you.
The ability to speak up.
The opportunity to sing.
And the chance to tell someone how much you care.
You place your hands over your nose and your eyes.
Thanking them for the ability to see all the beauty in this world.
And to smell wonderful smells.
You are reminded now of some of your favorite sights and smells.
Things that you can appreciate every single day.
You place your hands on your ears and think about all the sounds and the music that you are able to enjoy.
You hold your legs now and thank them for their support each and every day.
And now,
You place your hands together.
And allow yourself to be grateful for the sensation of touch.
The chance to run your fingers over freshly mown grass or to hold a book in your hands.
Gradually,
You place your hands on your head and allow yourself to be grateful for your mind.
You thank your brain for all the thoughts,
The good and the bad.
For each one is a chance to learn.
And a chance to understand yourself.
And the world on a deeper level.
And for that,
You are incredibly grateful.
And with a slow,
Deep breath.
You give yourself permission to accept yourself.
And to love your body exactly how it is in this moment.
It won't always be easy,
But you vow to always try and speak to yourself as you would your very best friend.
Because truly,
That is what you deserve.
And finally,
I want you to place your hands on an area of your body that perhaps you feel most self-conscious about today.
And maybe this is the reason that you first clicked on this meditation.
Hold this area with your hands.
Feel the warmth of your palms and breathe slowly into this space.
And now,
Repeat after me.
I see you.
I welcome you.
I accept you.
I love you.
Again.
I see you.
I welcome you.
Accept you.
I love you.
One more time,
I see you.
I welcome you.
Accept you.
I love you Allow this acceptance to fill your entire body.
Grow stronger with each breath and to guide you as you move forward today.
Really well done.
I hope you're proud of yourself today.
It's not easy to be so vulnerable and open and you've done fantastic.
Remember that this journey is not over with a 10-minute meditation.
We can always get to know ourselves more.
We can always be kinder to ourselves.
And we can always learn.
So acknowledge that it's okay if there are still lingering thoughts,
Doubts and worries.
This is completely normal.
Remind yourself again that you have shown up today.
It is obvious that you care about yourself.
And that is a wonderful thing.
Thank you for joining me today.
This practice will be here whenever you need it.
I hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
And I'll see you again soon.
