Welcome,

Beautiful soul.

I'm Sarah McGinnis.

Today we are going to take this time together to soften around the fear of being seen and to open to the truth that your presence is a gift.

Here in this meditation,

You are safe to expand,

Safe to take up space,

Safe to be witnessed in your fullness,

To remember your strength,

To honor your light,

And to return home to the truth that you are already whole,

Already loved,

Already free.

As you come into presence,

Allow your body to be heavy and supported by the surface beneath you.

Take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath into the belly,

Filling up,

Pause,

And exhale an even slower breath out.

Allow your shoulders to drop,

Soften the jaw,

Relax around the eyes and brow.

Let this space hold you.

Begin to imagine yourself in a space that feels deeply safe,

Your own perfect healing sanctuary.

Let it take shape for you now.

Notice what colors,

Textures,

Or scents surround you.

Now imagine this space itself is holding you.

The ground beneath you cradles you.

The air wraps around you like a soft,

Warm blanket.

With every inhale,

Breathe into the safety of this space.

With every exhale,

Feel your body sinking more fully into its embrace.

You are held.

You are supported.

You are safe here.

Now in this safe space,

Bring to mind the person,

People,

Or scenarios who once made you feel that it wasn't safe to be seen.

Notice them at a distance,

Only as much as feels comfortable.

Remember,

They cannot harm you now.

You are safe here.

If it feels right,

Picture them standing before you.

You might see them clearly,

Or you may only sense their presence as a shape,

A shadow,

Or a memory.

Allow the image to arrive in whatever way feels natural.

There is no right or wrong.

You might recognize their face,

Their posture,

Or their energy.

As you look at them,

Continue breathing into your own safety.

Feel the strength of the earth beneath you.

You are grounded.

You are protected.

You are in control of this encounter.

When they see and recognize you,

You notice that their expression changes.

You see them soften and regard you with love,

Support,

Affection,

And kindness.

They now truly see you for the whole,

Authentic,

Brilliant soul that you are.

They have come to make amends and to free you from any limiting beliefs that their past words or deeds may have imprinted.

If it feels comfortable,

Allow this person or these people to slowly move closer to you.

Notice how their energy has changed.

There is no harshness here,

No threat.

Their eyes are gentle.

They come to you with humility and love,

Carrying a softness that they may not have shown to you before.

See them approach until they are standing just before you.

And then,

In a gesture of reverence,

They kneel at your feet.

From this place,

You hear their voice addressing you with tenderness.

Dear One,

I am deeply sorry.

I did not know what I was doing when I hurt you.

I was not aware of how my actions affected you.

Please forgive me.

You are,

And always have been,

So precious and so worthy.

I can see your strength,

Your brilliance,

Your heart.

You are now free to release any harm that I may have caused you.

I encourage you to show up fully and authentically.

You are safe,

Whole,

And worthy,

No matter what.

Your value is not measured by perfection.

You don't have to earn my love.

You already are love.

And even if something goes wrong,

Even if you falter or forget your words,

Even if you stumble,

There is nothing wrong with you.

You are still safe.

You are loved,

And you belong.

Let their words wash over you,

Not as something to justify the past,

But as an offering to your healing.

You are free to take in what nourishes you,

And let the rest dissolve into a golden light.

Take another deep breath into the belly,

Filling up.

Open mouth exhale,

Sigh it out,

Let it go.

Take a moment to notice what it feels like in your body to hear those words.

Now imagine them stepping back slightly,

Not in rejection,

But in trust.

They stand with you now,

As an ally,

As a supporter,

As someone who will cheer for you as you step forward into your light.

Breathe deeply,

Letting this new supportive energy weave and settle into your being.

Now,

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Visualize yourself walking into a space where you desire to show up fully and authentically.

Maybe onto a stage,

Maybe into a circle of community,

Maybe simply sitting with a friend.

Allow your mind to choose the right setting.

Look around,

Notice the details.

Is it a theater?

An outdoor space?

A coffee shop?

What do you hear?

What do you see?

Who is around you?

As you notice the faces of the people before you,

You see that they are filled with love,

Support,

And encouragement.

You see them smiling warmly,

Leaning in,

Grateful to witness you in your authentic wholeness.

This crowd or this person is here because they want to see your light shine.

Take some time to breathe into this,

To stand or sit before them,

Fully seen and still completely safe and loved.

Notice how your body feels in this space of supportive visibility.

You might imagine yourself giving a talk,

Performing a dance,

Playing music,

Reading poetry,

Or simply sitting in community.

Whatever it is,

See yourself doing it with ease.

Feel the calm strength in your body.

Feel your voice and movements flowing naturally.

Let yourself linger here,

Fully immersed in this moment of being seen and celebrated.

In closing,

If it feels comfortable,

Gently cross your arms across your chest and begin tapping as you say the following affirmations,

Either aloud or in your mind.

I am safe to be seen exactly as I am.

Even if I falter,

I still belong.

Even if things don't go as planned,

I am still loved.

The universe delights in me sharing my light with the world.

When I show up in authenticity,

I create real connection with myself and with those around me.

It is safe for me to take up space.

It is safe for me to be witnessed.

I am whole.

I am loved.

I am free.

As you let these words echo inside of you,

Breathe them into your heart space.

Notice how your body feels when you receive them.

In closing,

Bring your awareness once more to the presence of the ones who came forward to apologize and speak words of love and encouragement.

See them again before you,

Not as a source of fear,

But as a softened presence,

A symbol of the old being transformed into something new.

Notice how their energy feels different now,

No longer heavy,

But light,

Supportive,

And kind.

Imagine them standing beside you,

A witness to your strength and a reminder of your worth.

Hear them say to you once more,

Dear One,

Your light is a gift and the world longs to receive it.

As you let those words settle deeply into your heart,

Feel them weaving into your body,

Your breath,

Your nervous system,

A steady truth you can carry with you.

And now,

As you prepare to step back into your day,

Remember that this supportive voice will walk with you.

You are not alone.

You are safe.

You are whole.

And you are free to shine brightly.

Now,

Gently begin to bring your awareness back into your body.

Maybe you wave your hands and feet.

Maybe you bring a soft smile to your face.

Take one more breath into your heart and know that when the time comes to be seen,

That you are safe to step into light with grounded presence,

With love,

And with courage.

Namaste.
