Welcome to your quick reset.
A practice to help you get out of your head,
Into your body,
And find a place of calm and ease within.
Settle into a comfortable position wherever you are.
Let the eyelids soften or gently close.
Feel the parts of your body that are touching the ground.
Let them become heavier,
Softer,
More supported,
Grounded.
Let the pelvis relax,
The belly soften.
Roll the shoulders up towards your ears and release,
Letting the tension melt away.
Soften the muscles of the face,
The jaw,
Tongue,
Eyes and eyebrows,
Temples,
Ears,
Scalp.
Whole body at ease.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Feel the breath on the right nostril,
Left nostril,
Both nostrils.
Observe the quality of your breath.
Notice where the breath goes in the body and where it doesn't.
Allow the breath to naturally deepen.
Inhale into the belly,
Ribcage,
All the way up into the chest and shoulders.
Exhale from the top down,
Chest,
Ribs,
Belly gently drawing in and up at the bottom.
Inhale,
Bottom to top.
Exhale,
Top to bottom.
Take a few breaths just like this.
Each exhale,
Let go of any residual tension or stress.
Allow the breath to return back to its natural rhythm.
Breath breathing you.
Notice where any tension might still be lingering in the body.
Bring your attention there on the inhale.
Soften on the exhale.
Inhale,
Aware of tension.
Exhale,
Letting go.
Exhale,
Release.
Bring your attention to your heart.
Notice the calm you've cultivated in this short time.
Feel the echo of peace within.
Know that you can return to this practice anytime you need a reset.
May you find peace in every moment.
Until next time,
Namaste.
