My name is Sangeet,
And today I have something to tell you.
We go through life with so many questions,
And for so many of those questions,
We never find an answer.
And one of the most persistent questions is,
Why are we here?
And as much as some of us want to believe that we know the answer,
That we know the reason,
The purpose of all of this,
There is always space for doubt,
There is always a moment in which even the most clever,
Reasonable,
Or intuitive answer doesn't make any sense anymore.
And even for those of us who find joy and peace in our hearts,
And a strong sense of connection to a higher source of energy,
Still,
We come and we leave this planet without knowing exactly why.
It is like finding a miraculous way to heal ourselves,
And then finding out that there are so many other miraculous ways out there,
And yet,
Despite so much healing,
Everybody ends up leaving Earth anyway.
So,
If you wonder what are we doing here,
I won't tell you the answer,
Because whatever answer I would give you,
It would only be a quick flow in the air,
That would vanish as soon as other answers would come,
And take away its complete sense or meaning.
But if your mind insists in this question,
To the point of making you doubt of everything,
And feel anxious and even depressed,
There is something that I can tell you that will calm your mind and put your heart at ease.
I can tell you that in this world we experience,
And I can tell you that in this world there is always a place for each one of us.
And yes,
What we experience may not be easy,
And whatever place we think we belong to may not feel the best for us.
But here is the good news.
From any unpleasant experience,
And from any unpleasant place,
There is always a chance to shift it and to make it better,
Always,
Even if that shift takes time,
Even if that shift pushes us to leave the planet.
And when we know this,
And we keep it,
We bring peace into ourselves,
Because it is a fact that we cannot doubt.
And yes,
Now you wonder,
But if it can push us out of the planet,
How is that calming our heart?
Because leaving this planet,
So far,
It is inevitable for all of us.
And accepting this ultimate destination is exactly what bring us that inner peace that we so much want.
The uneasiness only happens when we resist the inevitable.
When we accept it,
It is when we finally breathe and relax.
Besides,
What makes us think that leaving this planet is bad?
Would it be that difficult to believe that there is something better than this?
If we really think about it,
Maybe it wouldn't,
Right?
So,
Here is what we have.
An inevitable chance to be happier if things get tough,
And an inevitable trip to a place that can actually be better than this one.
And yes,
We are all alone in this,
But yet,
Guess what?
We are all in this together.
So,
Today,
If we wonder why are we here,
Let's dissolve any doubt or resistance by simply acknowledge what is,
And what we can actually count on.
And then,
Let's stay present in ourselves as the essence that we are,
So we can remain at peace.
